Times, they are a-changin'. It's now Spring, for one. And Spring always ushers in a sort of joie de vivre, whether we want it to or not. Flowers spring up, unbidden. Trees flower, then sprout leaves. Birds twitter, bees buzz and little lambs run wild ... OK, I'm getting distracted here. Sorry.

My point: Spring equals rebirth, and what better way to celebrate the season of rebirthing than by talking about how the videogame industry is changing (Or not)? For this week's issue of The Escapist, "Editor's Choice," we've slotted in a bevy of our favorite authors talking about a few of our favorite subjects.

Will Hindmarch returns with an exploration of the art of DM DJing, recounting his artful use of mood music for tabletop role-play gaming; another long-time The Escapist favorite, Robert B. Marks, checks in with a tale of the oddities of game reviewing; Robert Rath examines the overlap between videogame violence and real-life current events in modern day Mexico and Chuck Wendig explores the loneliness of being a videogame hero.
