We have a chain here called "La Belle Province", after one of their burgers you can feel your arteries hardening. Of course if you order anything other than poutine they shoot you dirty looks at you. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 112 Joined: 11 Sep 2007 | I have to say Mcdonalds as I work there. Plus I think we get a better menu in the UK. Last time I had a BK burger I spent 5 minutes trying to find the flavour. Never had a Wendy's burger though, something to do next time I'm over there. Of course, Subway grinds them all into the ground. |

Paperboy Posts: 23 Joined: 10 Dec 2007 | also they may be in other places, I'm not sure |
Anonymous Source Posts: 4 Joined: 3 Dec 2007 | There is no best fast food burger because they are all disgusting. If I had to choose I'd go with the one who is less annoying in commercials, I'd say mcdonalds, because although "I'm lovin' it" is a poor slogan choice, The Burger King and Wendy's and their constant flinging "Fresh never frozen" in your face are both far more annoying. If you want something fast that hasn't been processed a couple hundred times I'd go to subway or possibly just make something yourself. |

It got to the point where I would walk in and the people at the register would yell "Hey Wendy's Man!" in a Cheers-esque "Norm!" celebration. It's that good. |

You're like Jareds Evil twin brother who visits Wendies every time instead of subway. |

Copy Clerk Posts: 92 Joined: 7 Dec 2007 | In-and-Out. No competition. Out of the 'mainstream' fast food joints i'd give it to Jack in the Box. Awesome Ultimate Cheeseburger. Plus their commercials are ridiculously good. |
Anonymous Source Posts: 2 Joined: 7 Dec 2007 | I'm from a small town in the states, in PA specifically. My town has a local fast food place called Coney Island (not the one in NY), that is kind of a cult trend to go to...they specialize in burgers and dogs. They have a burger called "the sundowner" and it consists of a greasy burger, cheese, chili (their homemade version that is amazing) onion, and it's topped with a fried egg. If you have never tried a burger with a fried egg on top, you are missing out...sounds disgusting, but it's really not, try it. also, there is a chain on the east coast in the states, called Five Guys, make a great burger with fresh meat (handmade patties). |
Paperboy Posts: 14 Joined: 12 Nov 2007 | Can't really say, since I pretty much avoid fast food and burgers now. Though I'd have to say, for old times sake, a local joint in my home town called Kewpee. Amazingly different taste than all the other mainstream crap, and the bun glistens with fresh grease every time. |

I totally agree. Wendy's burgers satisfy a deep longing in every man's heart: the longing for an amazing burger. |

I agree entirely... I am also a regular Subway man, but sometimes a burger is nice... |
Anonymous Source Posts: 5 Joined: 11 Dec 2007 | I rarely eat fast food. Most of it destroys my stomach. Out of the big 3, BK hands down, but McD has the best fries |
Anonymous Source Posts: 2 Joined: 14 Dec 2007 | I'm surprised only one person has said Jack in the Box, but it probably has something to do with the fact that they're only prominent in certain states, most notably Texas and California. The Double Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger is...well, theres simply no other word to describe it so I'm just going to have to make one up. Scrumptrilescent.. Easily the greatest mainstream fast food burger ever, and that's not even counting the other fantastic items on the menu. Aside from Jack in the Box, I'd have to say In-n-out. Everytime I've been out to Cali I make it a point to stop there. Hell, I'd vote for them based solely on their fries, and that's not counting the delicious burgers. |

In-and-out, for me, has completely invalidated all other fast food. |

You know what, on second thought, I love their Sirloin Steak and Cheddar Ciabatta. Jack In The Box FTW!!! |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 3544 Joined: 25 Jan 2008 | What? No A&W listed? I myself never eat burgers, but I LOVE chicken fingers/nuggets and hotdogs, and A&W has the best hotdogs on earth... BK's Chicken Fries win on the chicken side of things. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 3849 Joined: 26 Feb 2008 | You my friend, underestimate the draw of Weinerschnitzel! I used to work there, and we had the best hot dogs, brats, Italian Sausages... Chili Cheese dogs... You name it, if you can put chili on it, or it has hot digs, we sold it. |

I underestimate nothing good sir... A&W butterfly-fry's the hotdogs, and uses real nice Italian buns. Costco hotdogs are great, Ikea ones are damn nice for the whole 50cents they ask, there's this fleamarket I frequent that sells $0.50 hotdogs or $1 nacho cheese dogs which I love, but none compare to an A&W dog with cheese and extra ketchup, dipped in the cheese sauce from NewYork Fries... F**K I'm hungry now... |

What is the best fast food burger? I say burger king because out of all the fast food places, they give you the most by far too. McDonald's is is better I admit, but every sandwich they give you is enough to be eaten in one bite(maybe 2) And remember I said fast food, not restaurant burgers.
