Now with games really coming out for Christmas, and with my wii being gone, I have decided to review one of my favourite games: Dead Rising. Also, being one of my most favourite games, I hope this review will be a lot better.
The story starts with you flying into Willamette, Colorado as Frank West (A Photojournalist). As you fly in you notice that the army has sealed off the roads leading out of Willamette and the people inside are acting strangely. After flying over the town, you are ambushed by the army and are forced to drop off at the nearby mall. In the mall, you have to survive for 72 hours by any means necessary.
When you first enter the game, you meet all the new characters (villains as well), along with a strange old woman looking for her dog who opens the doors and all lets all hell break loose making you have to fight your way to the stairs. You make it to the security room were you meet Brad and Jessie who also help you along the way.
The gameplay is really an amazing feature, being able to pick up mostly anything from the mall and brutally or quickly being able to kill any zombie you see. The fact that this game is on a next-gen console allows for over hundred of zombies to be on screen at once. You can level up, unlocking new moves. This allows for more creative ways of killing zombies,
The mall is full of secrets like hidden pp points, weapons and even bosses. Also there is meant to be a hidden zombie that you can download from the Xbox Live marketplace.
Once you have completed the game, overtime mode is unlocked. This, in turn, unlocks more of the story, and once you have completed overtime mode, unlimited mode is unlocked allowing you to play for an unlimited amount of days
The AI of some of the bosses can be pretty bad. One example of this is when I was fighting the shop clerk; I just needed to get behind him and he wouldn't even know I was there, making him an easy kill.
The zombies aren't really the main premise of the game, they feel more like a distraction. So even if you kill every zombie in the mall there is no difference or effect to/on the story.
One method of becoming stronger at a low level is mixing drinks. These make you faster and stronger (with many other effects). You can also get books, which do almost the same thing but more indirectly.
All in all it is a good game and you will probably get around 10 hours of gameplay MGGREVIEWS-8/10
Dead Rising - Capcom
Edited by Someone (yet again ¬_¬) who is NOT!!!! my mom.. do you get that part NOT my mom nor anyone realated to me understand that ok!!!....good
It kind of worries me that you chose to review this particular game so soon after I did. I mean come on at least wait a while before you try to do exactly what I did.
i think this sounds more than a opinion or little explanation than a review
maybe if you try to put a bit of style, at least there was a Umbrella Chronicles review that have me thinking in buy the game that had comentaries like albert wesker looked like duke nukem and that he injected the chuck norris virus.
maybe you could say stuff like this game looks like dawn of the dead having a cool black man like a leader-like character or something and that the game is a crazy blood fest, and maybe bit about the most interesting pschopaths like Cliff looks like a freddy kruger wanna-be
Um seriously, the jumps in quality are too large for you to have writtn them yourselves.... And seriously, Excessum JUST wrote a review, way to copy and paste then edit buddy.
If it's not his mum, then I call his dad! Or Uncle perhaps?
Even still, this review just sounds like you read it off the back of the box.

And since when did you learn big words and know how to spell them right. Instead of writing MGG reviews something, how about write Somebody else reviews whatever. Come on, give credit where credit is due.

John Galt: Ah, the soothing return to the flame-cycle. That Hitman review had me worried there for a bit but it seems like things are gonna be just fine.
"Come on Sally, grab the kids and lets get outta this bunker! The war's over, we can be a family again!"
Haha. It seems everything has turned back to normal.

And once again the events of life come full circle. Mr. Potter is found guilty, our hero doesn't commit suicide after all, and terrible terrible flames roared down upon MGG's head as a result of his latest review.
I used to not understand why this guy gets more hits then other poeple who actually write good reviews. Then I realised that a signifcant portion of the comments were his own replies and all the the comments from other people were just Criticisms and accusations of plagerism. Doesnt bother me. Most of them are true anyway. :) I just did it then. Fuck.

Good is boring, bad gives people so much more to talk about.

I have no idea how or who edits his reviews, so I'll keep mum on that topic.
It was good, or at least I thought so. He's only 12, so it's probably a bit optimistic to expect Gerstmann quality bile coming from him. Thumbs up sir, you're improving all the time.
im gona take whats his names advice and pak it in for now until im older plus i got test soon anyway and to much homework to count so i probaly wont have the time... thanks anyway.

MGG, do not let these guys get you down. There will always be idiots screaming in the darkness, telling you that what you do sucks, that you should learn to spell, etcetera, etcetera. Even the most talented and famous have to endure that garbage. It's universal.
So don't give up. Keep writing those MGG Reviews. I'll keep reading em.
Perhaps it would be best if you stopped writing reviews, at least for a while. Whilst reviews are all very nice, if it eats into time which could better be used for important exams, it just ain't worth it.

Easykill: Maybe you should get whoever edited your review to edit your posts too...
Don't you mean whoever WROTE his review? Actually, that isn't such a bad idea, perhaps this person could get an account of their own and just post on behalf of MGG=REVIEWS indefinetly.
MGG=REVIEWS: what the f... do you do for a living you have more freetime than i do and im 12
Not likely. 12 years old = nothing but free time. Homework? Easy peasy and most of it can be skipped. Real world = full time job, transportation, keeping your living space livable, and many of us have families with kids your age or younger that eat up all of our time.

I'm sorry but.....what?
I mean...I can't actually comprehend anything that you're trying to say. Honestly, it's like a small dog trying to sing the French national anthem.
MGG=REVIEWS: already in high school 12= old enough for high school OMG you didnt know that.
Well Mr Fancy pants, where I come from we start High School in grade 8. Most kids do anyway, unless you were moved up a grade, which I highly doubt. OMG you didnt know that!

What High School/Country do you go to. Nearly all High Schools start in Yr7, and most people turn 13 in year 7 except of course for private schools that are a whole different kettle of fish.

Why are you flaming purple rain, he's done jack shit to you.
And I also noticed this review came up a few hours after someone else reveiwed Dead Rising so I scream PLAGERISM.
To judge the reveiw by its own merits; Its pretty much a cut and paste from other reviews that I've seen and it dosent actually provide much information about the game. I would expect any review of Dead Rising to have a funny story revolving around zmbies and a bowling ball.
Also you said yourself that you are only 12 years old. You should not be plaing this game, let alone reviewing it. Why did your parents let you play this game and then help you write a review about it?
