I'd say Warhammer Fantasy realm, but that would probably be a little too similar. Instead of taking place on a ship, it'd be a caravan or something. We've played it already, so I refrain from suggesting it.

lmao my vote goes to Transformers. I've loved the show for a long time, and I'd laugh my head off if we somehow managed to pull it off. Failing that, probably Lord of the Rings. Seeing as Turbine and LotRO won the developers showdown, I think it'd be a decent idea. Plus, there's a plethora of background and references to keep it going.

That would be cool, the only problem with LOTR for me would be lack of terminology, i know like sweet FA about it, Less then i know about Wh40k which would leave me at a massive disadvantage as far as me being able to develop character.
I wouldn't mind say, pirate but it could be boring for some people.
As in have it like we're stuck on a "Ship" and have it with either british soldiers and convicts or with french soldiers or something of ye old day treasure times, the main espionage could be about treasure and the murderer knows where it is but doesn't want to share?

What use would a murder be in a zombie apocalypse?
Is murdering people going to help them live? No.
Besides, if it's about a specific person being infected, no one dies, And people can tell a zombie apart from regular people.

Epilogue:

Ophelia slept in a comfortable bed provided by the Governor. She grinned slightly in her sleep as she recalled all the people she had betrayed. Her former crew flashed before her eyes, all unmoving.
"Well done."
One of the bodies had lifted its head. It was a grotesque sight, with much of the skin missing and the skull cracked and twisted in a gruesome smile.
"Why didn't I shoot you? Why did I think that our time as crew on the ship meant anything to you? Why did I take my eyes off you?"
Ophelia began to tremble in her sleep.
"Did you honestly think that Daemon would get rid of all of me? I'm as much a part of your mind as the ship was. I will never die as long as I'm remembered. Neither will the rest.
Several figures emerged, all dead and yet still glaring at Ophelia. Behind them all stood an enormous metal figure.
"You will die every time you close your eyes for what you've done."
The figure raised his enormous pistol in skeletal hands and aimed it.
Ophelia awoke with a start.
She closed her eyes again, trying to forget it all.
She heard a bullet inside her head and saw the figures again.
"I am your Sorrow."

Still, epic, most definitely. Really glad I got to the end. And gave Irish a little help in providing the perfect source for a climactic ending. Hats off to you there Irish for your tangent plot providing mio amico!

You know I'm tempted to copy and paste Gremlin into future RPs for a laugh, one leg and all. Slowly build a character who gets more and more scarred. Heh...

lol mwahahahahahahahaha! I love it! Sorry, but I hadn't been evil enough for my tastes. Plus, I've been brewing the Sentinel/Defiler idea for a while...the spawn hunt was just the chance I needed.

A thought occurs to me. These games are getting ludicrously large and don't show any signs of getting smaller. Maybe there should be a handful of RPs held at any time with limits on numbers?

I guess the issue is with limiting numbers is that we only get so many that are active anyway I guess. We're gonna have the zombies eat any non-actives next time though methinks.

lol I must agree with Saskwach on this one. Gremlin was an awesome character to work with (I'd like to believe that I'm the Mickey Goldmill to his Rocky Balboa). Also, the RP number do get somewhat excessive, especially when people don't post often enough. But that's at the GM's discretion, and I trust Galt's judgement.

I still think it was Gremlin. Shifty eyes, he's got :P.

Excellent ending. I was hoping to survive the whole thing but alas, I was deaded at the last second.

Ophelia became a bit of an NPC in the end so I kinda forgot about her, oh well.

Brilliantly played by all :)
