what is going on with movie studios??? creating spoofs of movies trying to be funny is stupid after scary movie the very first one everything else went downhill
so why are they continuing to make this movies

More seriously, spoofs tend to come in fits and starts over a certain period of time. It takes a certain amount of pop culture detritus to create good spoofs, which take s a X amount of time. So yeah, they start out goo,d get tired, die, and are reborn.
