This one was on Law and order so might be easy:
A man was found to hang himself in a barn. The Noose was up 4m the barn was 12m wide and deep. The man was approximately two meters from the ground. There was no hay underneath the man so how did he get up?

Anthony and Cleopatra were found dead on the floor. There were no marks or bruises on them. The only thing odd in the room was a broken bowl. How did they die?

They're goldfish. People need to stop using this riddle, it's only solvable if you've heard it before.

It is solvable if you think hard enough by the way it was worked out by our class who hadn't heard it. There is a really difficult one involving houses that you need to draw to visualize and apparently only 5% of people can do it. I did :D. It is a more logical one though i prefer the creative ones.

The brother one is easy, as most good riddles are when you can send your mind to the right place to solve them. You just have to ditch your preconceived notions of what words mean. The goldfish one is more along the lines of what we used to call a two minute mystery. It's not "solvable" in the way that the beggar one is. When you get the beggar one, you instantly know that it is the correct answer. The goldfish one, you need someone to tell you that you picked the answer they happened to be looking for.

Generally, two-minute mysteries allow yes or no questions to reach the conclusion. The midget with the umbrella mentioned earlier in this thread is another one like that.
