Want a real riddle?

I'll be back to see your answers.

Ten fish I caught without the eye,
and nine without the tail.
Six with no head, and half of eight,
I weighed upon a scale.
Now who can tell me as I ask it,
How many fish are in my basket?

And my guess to Anarchemitis riddle is feeling

You must get the correct answer and reason to win.

None because you havn't put them in a basket yet.

Right answer, wrong reason.

Assume all the fish are in the basket.

Try again

I told you people s/he got the right answer

The answer is 0 fish. But his reason is wrong.

There are two doors,
behind one door is a pile of gold,
and behind the other is a man eating tiger.

guarding the doors are 2 guards, and both guards know which door is which.
one guard always tells the truth,
and the other guard always tells lies,
and you dont no which guard is which,.

if you only had a single question that you could only ask a single guard,
what do you ask to find out what is the door with the gold?

you ask one guard what the other would say if you asked where the gold was then chose the one they dont say

correct

had you heard that riddle before?

yea lots of times.

On a street there are five houses, each a different color. In each house lives a person of different nationality. Each homeowner drinks a different beverege, smokes a different brand of cigar and keeps a different pet. The Brit lives in a red house. The swede keeps a dog. The Dane drinks tea. The green house is on the left of the white house. The owner of the green house drinks coffee. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds. The owner of the yelllow house smokes Dunhill. The man living in the center house drinks milk. The Norwegian lives in the first house. The man who smokes blends lives next to the one who keeps cats. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill. The man who smoke Blue Master drinks beer. The German smokes Prince. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house. The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who drinks water. So... Who keeps fish?

Can't tell if it's a logic puzzle or a trick question.

my turn!

If your sock drawer has 8 black socks, 4 brown socks, 8 white socks, and 2 tan socks, how many socks would you have to pull out in the dark to be sure you had a matching pair?

Five, worst case scenario: you have three different colored socks and one matching pair.

Problem is, you're still in the dark, so you wouldn't know which ones matched.

A truck that weighs exactly 1 tonn drives aross a bridge that is 2 miles long. The maximum carrying capacity for the bridge is also 1 tonn. The slightest extra weight could cause the bridge to collapse.

half way across the bridge the truck stops. a bird lands on the truck.

Does the bridge collapse? why or why not?

Doesn't. The bridge is RATED at 1 ton, which usually means it can handle approximately between 2500 and 3000 pounds, according to Engineering standards... Or is this a trick question?

This is me, hurting you with my mind. (This riddle has been asked at least 3 different times).

It's been asked BETTER by other people too. You don't specify that the truck is running on a consumable/burnable fuel. You, sir, lose.

For the oxymoron to make sense, there need to be two conflicting values in it, "Failing" can for example also mean to "not win", because it's generally accepted that you want to win, and if your goal is to lose it's meaning stays the same. So you're trying to [not win] and you do [not win]. You completed your goal, you succeed.

Speed is always relative, so without the inertial frame of reference, your question is meaningless. So, like the guy with two d***s answers when his tailor asks him whether he dresses left or right: "Yes."

And you have done both, you have succeeded at failing, and failed in the process.

Shoot the bird with a silenced weapon, thus killing it before alerting it to your presence. That way, you never actually "disturbed" it.

I hide in the light, and show myself in the darkness. All people run from me and all people want me. I bring change, yet I never do. I bring the food that you eat, and take it away from you. And one day, no matter who you are, I will find you.

Who am I?

You're right, its not true. I'll give a hint. I mean darkness in a figurative sense.
