Google is running a joint venture with Virgin (UK) to create the ultimate off-site backup system: http://www.google.com/virgle. Google Mail is also offering a service that allows you to backdate email... and have it arrive in time. Someone got to this year's BBC prank, which approaches the dizzying heights of their 50's "spaghetti harvest" prank. Turbine's offering the "Battle of Amon-hen" expansion to LOTRO with a new PC race; chickens. Bungie's tampered with their "Bungie Online" real-time player map to display Mister Chief. Be advised that YouTube's poisson d'Avril is redirecting all "Recommended Videos" links on their main page to a Rick Astley single. (I'm serious. They're not... though rolling the channers does have a delicious albeit iron-y flavour.) I recommend caution when linking to any YouTube video today. edited to add: d'oh! totally forgot that this was in the original post. time for more coffee... In more amusing news, discount airline Ryan Air is offering "Ryan Bare" adult-themed flights. Amusingly, it loaded a player in their in site system instead of pushing you off-site to youtube or something. I woke up at 3:30 am (not on purpose) and fumbled my way through the internet to figure out what Rick Rolling was. |

In this game, there are random events that occur to you or your bands some of them good, some of them bad. A couple of Aprils back, I created a fake 'newbie account' and basically managed to fool half the site into thinking an 'event' that causes all of your bands to quit and take a chunk of your money with them was real. I think there are still a couple of people who think even now that it's a real event. User was banned for: Mom Calls For Ban On Underworld. (Permanent) |

What have sites that you frequent done for April fools day? the only one i know is that all youtube featured videos are a rick roll (youtube wins hehe)
