My favs are definitely VG Cats, PA and Cyanide and Happiness. There are a ton of other good ones, but these are the three I read on a regular basis. Why?

1) VG Cats was the first webcomic I ever read. I immediately loved the style of the art, and found the sense of humour to be both intelligent and hilarious. This comic started to get me into gaming heavily, as I wanted to understand all the references Scott uses. Also, Scott is Canadian, so a little national pride is involved I guess.

2) Penny Arcade is the number one gaming webcomic out there. Its smart, incredibly well drawn, funny, and best of all includes some of the best electronics and gaming jokes/references I have personally ever seen. Also, reading Jerry Holkins'/Tycho's posts helps improve your vocabulary!

3) Cyanide and Happiness. My brother got me into this one. Not only is it updated every day, but its also consistently funny, and has a great sense of shock/monty pythonesque humor that I have grown to love. The four guys behind this each have their own humour and drawing styles, so every comic they write feels different and refreshing. Unless you're incredibly conservative or easily offended, check this one out.

The best webcomic strip ever is Randal Munroe of xkcd's "Choices" five part saga. Very meaningful and insightful. It actually changed my outlook on life

I can't actually post links for spoiler reasons, but The Order of the Stick is my favourite webcomic (xkcd being a close second). This is one of the only comics I can think of that can take a female demon hitting on a female paladin and make it funny, rather than creepy.

OOTS is one of the great constants in life: always something funny three times a week.
It, C&H, and 8-bit theater are my favorites.

I like a handful of the before mentioned so I wont waste any more time with those but these are some that I do like that no one else has gotten to yet:

Least I Could Do (http://www.leasticoulddo.com/)
Pretty much about a guy and his friends...He's like a sex god. lol Very much guy humor but I love it.

Under Power (http://underpower.non-essential.com/)
Always had a soft spot in my heart for this one. Though It's no longer really up dated. The story line was good while it lasted though. Highly amusing. Drawn very old school style.

Comedity 2.0 (http://www.comedity.com/)
Fairly new to the comic world. Another one with guy humor but it has a penguin. I luffs him. Has many many video game references in it as well. Fun Fun. Not to mentions a zombie section...hehe.

Three Panel Soul (Formerly MacHall) http://www.threepanelsoul.com/view.php?date=2008-03-31)
I mainly only read it now because I used to be such a die hard MacHall fan. It's basically just the guys random thoughts now-a-days. I really only stick with it because I like to see what Ian and Matt are still up to.

If you want to read MacHall the comics are still up. It's worth checking out. (http://www.machall.com)

That's...some of them anyway. lol I like my art and I like to support my fellow artists. It's not an easy road to walk down.

I mine as well add one. It's this webcomic called Lozers. I thought it was hilarious. Their site's messed up so I can't post favorite strips.

Well, I never said it was funny. I probably should have said that it might not be for everyone.

I don't see Knights of the Dinner Table listed yet, or Order of the Stick for that matter. Both are arguably classics in the genre.

I personally like Freefall, but it is very slow-paced so that's a very "your milage may vary".

And I used to follow Sluggy Freelance but dropped off a few years ago... though I'm given to understand it's still running strong. (Hey, any comic with a switchblade-wielding, sociopathic lop-eared rabbit named "Bun-Bun" has gotta be good.)

In my opinion CAD is very overrated and designed to hang the audience with drama, something personal, I guess

Your kidding right? I've seen so many better drawn web comics...not to mention coloring books. This is very much cartoon style as well though. The attention to detail is amazing..but not the drawing itself. Everything is easier when you toss in dramatic lighting. I must say my personal view on art is that it should look real though I am for new styles and perspectives too. It's just I'd never say a cartoon style comic to that degree was the 'best' illustration I've ever seen. That's just me though... Like this comic (http://requiem.seraph-inn.com/viewcomic.php?page=123) That is more amazing to me. Now that girl has potential to be a great painter. No offense though, everyone has their own tastes. I was just kinda shocked is all...

First off, xkcd is, in my opinion, the greatest webcomicry I've ever seen. However, drmcninja is another nice comic along with the lovely 8-bit Theater. I'm actually sort of surprised that these two haven't been mentioned yet. Of all the forums I've stumbled into, this one stands out as not having been enlightened by these exemplary...examples.
