Ah, the people's stupidity rears its ugly head everytime we deceide to have a gander at the net. More commonly on a little website called Youtube. If you haven't heard of it, it's a little gathering spot for idiots to yell at each other for a while for no real point. Sometimes they can be unintentionally funny.

While listening to the music from Requium For A dream I read over a few classic lines:

-wow only a fucking moron would say that... what an idiot, rap is the dumbest thing made since the invention of the Nissan Altima

I was told to watch a video of a bot playing guitar hero. scrolling through the comments I find that half of them are saying "FAKE" and the like, the other half saying "no shit it's fake, it says it's a boot in the friggin title"

...does anyone else here get on Youtube to argue with people for fun? Find the most irrational comment on youtube, then elegantly refute the person's argument until you wittled them down to the point where they can only personally insult you (insults attacking you based on what the other person assumes about your religion, race, nationality, etc. )...then you should make up an imaginary sterotype about the person, and the persons living around them, and just go with it.

But more to the point of the thread, I read one guy's post that says that everyone in America is descended from Christopher Columbus, that he was the first to find the New World, and everyone in the Americas (North and South) are stealing resources and that's why the world hates all of us.

But the favorite things of mine on Youtube are typically classical orchestra peices, like Tchaikovky's 4th, 4th Movement, Holst's Jupiter, and Tosca.

And If I find people commenting like idiots, I perceive them as being sarcastic, because for all we know they are being so, and there's no way we could know for sure.

Still, regardless of sarcasm or not, the people who comment on the Normandy Beach scene from Saving Private Ryan, calling the soldiers 'pussys' make me want to punch every person in the world in the eyes.

I saw on the comments of the two legged horse video on person pointing out the obvious and saying it was fake to which someone replied,
"are you one of these jerks, who say everythings fake?? I once saw a moose with a 24 foot Penis!!!!"

Being an up-and-coming 3D animation/modelling guy, it puts me in dismay when you Youtube "pixar". The thickies think that anything 3D animated is all from Pixar. (Extremely angry and frustrated face)

I'm a big fan of the "No you fucking jew, 'random band' is 'random genre,' not 'other random genre.' God, you're fucking retarded." ad nauseum. It's especially funny on the metal band video pages due to the many, many, many, omfg many different subgenres of metal. (Sorry for the cursing but it's a made up quote, so my imaginary internet fanboy can be a racist just for shits and grins)

I very nearly wish that leaving comments wasn't a feature, but then you can't say anything insightful or pithy about it. Or comment that you were in it and explaining just how drunk you got to staple three T-shirts and a pancake to your naughty bits.

Not to mention the ongoing war on Rammstein's "Du Hast" music video as to what "du hast" actually means. It seems that rather than try to translate the double entendre of "you have me{asked, and I have said nothing)/you hate me", Rammstein released an english version with drastically different lyrical meaning. Confusion followed, and the "hay giys i no germn" vs. "No, fukkin retar, da words r dis" war has gone on for hundreds upon hundreds of pages.

(This may go to show that most people who listen to Rammstein are morons.)

This actually falls under the most disturbing thing I've seen on YouTube, so if you're offended by cursing, homphobia, and involuntary sexual acts, please don't read on:

I once watched a Russian nationalist video. On the comment page Russians were bragging about how many German women and girls the Red Army raped during and after WWII. I've read some really stupid sh*t on YouTube, but that was just crossing a line to me. I was younger back then, so stupid-little-me just had to post a comment that said something like, "That is revolting. Only a complete psycho would be proud that his country's army rapes women. What kind of sick weirdo's are you guys?"

After that, I was bombarded with death threats, called a German scum, an Aryan fag, pussy, etc etc. Then they called me an asshole for not supporting communism, and said I was probably a filthy Ukrainan and/or a traitor.

Youtube makes me loathe the human species. And made me despise nationalists even more.

Basically the kid was tring to call BS on the vid, saying PS3 MKII is V2.1 when it's 3.1, saying the MK3.UMK3 vids were using infinite run (the run bar drained) quick uppercut recovery (anyone who's played MK3 for ANY length of time will realise this isn't the case), Randper Kombat (RANDom PERson KOMBAT, quite how that'd help a kombo vid i'm not sure), Accusing the vid of being made on the SNES version (again, anyone who's played MK3 for 5 minutes could tell the difference) and making various fake accounts, spamming the profiles of people who commented, and their friends profiles.

Fun was had, winding this kid up, disproving his theories, laughing at his theories, turning his insults on himself, and generally laughing at him.
