Hell, I drive better in GTA with a mouse and keyboard by using spacebar as brake, and I'm astonished by how well I drove after I got use to it. Also, in games like Gears of War, WASD is less clumsy (unless you have fat fingers or something) because I'm sure everyone knows what I'm talking about when Mr. Fenix would jump in the exact opposite direction you wanted him to dive in, or if he just dived into cover instead of running up against it - I've experienced less of that on a Keyboard. Using the Mouse as a Camera/Crosshair is also fantastic. I know this is in OT - but I'm just using examples to why I like M&KB better, controllers are just too damn clunky. They are nice and tiny though! EDIT: And although I've said this earlier - I'll just repeat myself for those that missed it - Hack N'Slash and Fighting games are pretty much the only thing I'd rather use a controller for, but like FireDaemon said, a Joystick is probably better, but that's just a matter of preference. |

Hell yes! |

While they're more precise and what not, I think relaxed console gaming is the way to go most of the time. Now if someone could invent a mouse that works in the air and is also a controller with buttons etc. we wouldn't need this argument. |

I agree. Everyone brings this up, but I don't think it's that much different, especially in FPS games. Aiming in FPS games is FAR, FAR more important than the slight difference in movement that you get from analog. Plus, with a keyboard, you get all the buttons your heart could possibly desire. |

Paperboy Posts: 30 Joined: 6 Apr 2008 | I like my controller for racing games and the like, but I can't take FPS's with a controller. Once you get a controller's sensitivity down to the point where you can aim correctly it takes a half hour just to turn around. High-res mouse ftw. |

Well durr! Don't want to sound rude or anything since text isn't the best form of communication, but c'mon, you said "tried to play CoD online the other day" - obviously you didn't have enough time to get use to it if you are a long time controller user... |

Copy Clerk Posts: 72 Joined: 7 Nov 2007 | Mouse control. Sens should be extremely low to better maintain aim as most enemies demand more than one bullet. Almost every console FPS game seems to have some sort of auto-aim which really defeats the question all together ... |

Mouse is better for percision aiming, but sticks are better than keyboards for movement.
