Winter by Joshua Radin as my last tribute to Scrubs. Or April Come She Will by Simon & Garfunkel.
The first funeral i ever went to, they played All You Need is Love. It was pretty powerful, hundreds of people were there and they encouraged us to sing.

Highway to Hell - ACDC

^Just for laughs.

In all honesty I'd want something a bit mellow like 12:51 by The Strokes. Or perhaps something more... vocal like Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes, or Helicopter by Bloc Party.

Im tempted to say the benny hill themetune, just for the after-death lulz

Something by VAST. Some choices would be:

"I'm Dying"
"Last One Alive"
"We Will Meet Again"
"I Don't Have Anything"
"The Nile's Edge"

Other choices include:
"Horse With No Name", by America. I just like that song.

I just wanted to throw a complete figurative curve-ball, "Hell", by the Squirrel Nut Zippers (look it up).

"Don't Stop Me Now" - QUEEN

"Hide and Seek" - Imogen Heap

And lastly, Eclipse of Time By Nobou Uematsu, from Lost Odyssey:

Zelda's Lullaby.
And, I suppose, "Brother In A Jar" by TARANTULA.
Aura's theme, since it's just so bloody depressing.
Actually, any song carried a feeling of melancholy in the .Hack series.

I don't people to be depressed at my funeral so I'm going to have:
Shiney Happy People - REM
One Fine Day - The Offspring
That really famous western music that has " crack that whip" in it

That would be "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Theme".

or the theme from Rawhide.

Sorry, the one that starts with the whistling.... if that helps ( I doubt it)

I'll sleep when I'm dead - Bon jovi
Be Quick or Be Dead - Iron Maiden
Hell Aint a Bad Place to be - ACDC
Like a Bat Outta hell - Meatloaf (actually, my Aunty got this one before i did, cheeky bitch, stealing my ideas, I got in trouble for being happy at a funeral. :D)
burn in hell - Twisted sister
One night in heaven - m people
burning alive - ACDC (if i were cremated)

I'm going to stop their, but i could go on. I'd be happy with any pun related title :D

or just for kicks, i'd go for the last 50 seconds of "Killing in the Name of" by Rage Against the Machine. Me and God would be hi-fiving each other watching that scene unfold :D

Rage Against The Machine-Take the Power Back; kick arse song from my fave band ever. But at my funeral, I'd just have my entire MP3 played; it's effectively who I am.

Edit: Excellent final choice there Le' Moog

"Turning Japanese" by the Vapors

I think that would give the attendants at least a little excitement in what will end up being a boring, droll few hours

i just thought of something.

have a mate do a speech, then at the end, the pastor would take the stage and randomly throw in "he's not really dead, this is all a set up to fool people about his secret identity. he's actually..." (leans forward) "... a power ranger." and then we'd play the power rangers theme, except me, cuz i'm dead. then i'm rickrolling the lot of them. then we have the duke nukem carry out theme.

Something by VAST. Some choices would be:

"I'm Dying"

"The Nile's Edge"

Or, if I couldn't get anything by VAST, I'd go with "Horse With No Name", by America. I just like that song.

Or, if I just wanted to throw a complete figurative curve-ball, "Hell", by the Squirrel Nut Zippers (look it up).

What about "Where It Never Rains" by VAST? "We Will Meet Again" is a good choice.

And is it just me or is "Hell" by the SNZ just another version of their other song "Trou Macacque"? Sorry to digress, but I never usually get an opportunity to bring that up ;-)

My pick would have to be "The Weeping Song" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

"This is a weeping song
A song in which to weep
While all the men and women sleep
This is a weeping song
But I won't be weeping long"

I Will Follow You Into The Dark - Death Cab For Cutie
Imagine - John Lennon
Let it Be - Beatles
Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton

But I would probably go with
Fade To Black - Metallica

In A Graveyard - Rufus Wainwright

At once incredibly moving, but I also figure, very appropriate. I mean, I'm not going to get buried anywhere else. I hope.

Mmm Vast *drools*, though i think the 'Untitled' Track on Vasts self-titled album would be appropriate for me, i don't think i'd want lyrics in my funeral song.
Possibly 'NIN - A Warm Place' as well??

Yes.. That would be glorious if you could couple it with some coffin chase-scene antics and sexy lingerie wearing mourners!!!

Since I intend to freeze myself down, then become a cyborg and live forever, I will not have one.

But in the case of a guy in blue spandex cybernetics sporting a buster cannon with increadible unstoppable power to stop my regim of goodness, I'd go with either "Find the way" or "Fields of Hope" OR "Mizu no Akashi"
