Oh you thought wrong. I love that movie so much. |
Beat Writer Posts: 209 Joined: 7 Feb 2008 | I hear alot of Transformers bagging on this, who didn't like it and why? I was skeptical but ended up loving it. I can only think of Stardust, I enjoyed that. Found out some of my other mates did too, so mentioning I liked it turned into a major bonding session, of which I mean emotionally, not with gaffa tape and paddles or anything. Try this, say you like it, you may acquire a newfound closeness to your friends. Now I have to lift weights and play God of War to balance out this pansy response for "fear of catching the gay" |

I simply adored Gilbert & Sullivan's 'HMS Pinafore'. I have The Music Man on VHS as well. I like musicals also and am proud of it. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1303 Joined: 5 May 2008 | -_-' I like action movies, so anything that has a down keyed storyline I dont like to admit watching. But it's not one of my ultimate favorites. (on another note, Good Morning Vietnam.) |

Well, Chuck Norris is too smart to beat up Death. He knows that everyone has to die, and if he resists going with death, eventully he will end up killing death, and then the whole world will be ruined... So he has to go along eventually... I just hate to see what the world will say about that... |
Beat Writer Posts: 212 Joined: 2 Apr 2008 | "Dude, where's my car?" It's a liberal political masterpiece stuck inside the form of a teenage stoner comedy. I didn't hate Transformers, I was just utterly baffled by its existence. Did they really have repeated pissing robot jokes and use the massacre of American troops in Qatar for comic relief? Re-watching (not that I'd ever want to do this again) confirms that they did. How did anybody ever think this movie could work? How did it get funding? Is this what cinema's coming to? Etc, etc... |

I love that movie. Made me feel 'hey, there are truly good people who make a difference' but then I remembered he's much older than me when the movie starts, so perhaps I should be patient in my changing of the world. Oh, and Transformers was horrible in every way. Except maybe set design, but that is reaching. |

Really, when the high point of your month is "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" you really don't want anyone to know. Also that show is where I saw Evil Dead for the first time. |

MSFT3k and Elvira were built on films like that! Anyone who hasn't seen Plan 9 From Outer Space really has to. |

That's being a bit mean don't you think? There was plenty of fun to be had if you like making fun of Hollywood cliches. They even made a robot sound black and specialize in heavy weaponry just so they could kill him off. |

Jazz (the "black" one) wasn't the heavy-weapons specialist, that was Ironhide, and he had an English accent (I think). |

Troma is TEH WINZOR! Ahem... Well, amongst my hall of shame is Ferngully, The Avengers, Plan 9 from Outer Space, a few Cynthia Rothrock films, Leprecahun 4 : Leprechaun in da Hood...lots of truly astoundingly bad movies. |
Muckraker Posts: 330 Joined: 5 Feb 2008 | Wow I thought I was the only one who watched Ferngully. I've seen a whole lot of Don Bluth animated features when I was a child Rock-a-Doodle, An American Tail, Anastasia, All Dogs go to Heaven But if you really want guilty pleasure, *cough* Thumbelina. |
Beat Writer Posts: 136 Joined: 25 Apr 2008 | Assault on Precinct 13: The remake was actually better! The good thing about "bad" films is that it's impossible to be disappointed. |
