I don't know if you noticed but I and Jallil Vlos (she is my girlfriend) were giving advice to a guy based upon what had worked most often with other people, and not just ourselves. She is a girl, and I have dated over 25 different women, each one different and unique. We all said that while these will not work in EVERY case, they are general advice for helping him get over his fear of women, something I would think you would APPRECIATE, rather than seeing it as being misguided attempts to help him get laid... You are ONE woman, and you will no more have the answer than me, who has dated over 20 women. I have found my true love, so I am secure that I know how to handle myself with her, and I find it offensive that you make two posts on this forum and then claim that we are all wrong. How old are you? How many women have you dated, and what makes you eligible to give advice to supposedly inept guys? In the grand scheme of things, your advice only applies to people who interact with you. What works for you will not always work for other women. It is shameful to think that you can tell me how to act around women when I have probably failed more relationships and learned from more women than you have. To be honest, I don't have a clue and personally I wouldn't be caught dead in them. Its just what's in style and popular. Also, if you want to talk to a girl the last thing you want to do is point out that you don't like something that she is wearing, trust me, compliment something you do like, it'll get you a lot further. |

You know, as shallow as it seems it's probably best not to admit your nerdiness to a girl(or anyone really) outright. Society has alot of misconceptions about nerds and it's best if you let her get to know and like you first before showing her your nerdy side. As for the second half of the post, it's difficult to say really. It depends on the woman, but the best advice I can possibly give is to find something you have in common with her, then build upon that steadily. Become friends, but it's very important she knows you're romantically interested in her. If you allow the friendship to persist for too long, chances are she'll think of you more like a brother than a love interest. Flirt a little, maybe give her a present. You don't have to spend money, it could be something you make yourself or something you found that reminds you of her. I remember one of the best gifts I have ever recieved was a pretty rock my first boyfriend found on the ground(I had a rock collection back then). It was simple and thoughtful. Anyway it depends on the lady. Get a feel for what she likes/dislikes when you talk to her, and try to act accordingly when you make your move. The most important thing is to try and act casual. You can make a woman nervous if you're all fidgety and whatnot. Hope I was helpful at least a little. |

Females wear those stupid sunglasses because they are currently fashionable, and for the majority of women under 25 and a significant minority of older women it is better to be fashionable than to actually look good. I think the trend was started by anorexic celebrities who found that oversized sunglasses made them look smaller. 2. Most people don't like being insulted... you moronic sack of dogshit. |

You know, boobs are pretty awesome to have, up to a certain size, at which point they are just heavy and uncomfortable. You might be surprised how many women have chronic back pain because of the size of their boobs. I will tell you though, that bras are uncomfortable regardless of the size, and kind of mandatory in most clothes. Imagine if you had to wear a jock strap all the time.

That's like asking why are guys only interested in scoring chicks and watching football. You either have a warped perception of women, or you are hanging out with the wrong girls.
I say this entirely without sarcasm: women's clothes have no freaking pockets! Jeans are fine, but one of the things that drives me nuts, now that I have to wear "nice clothes" to work, I had to go out and get a purse, because my pockets don't hold anything more that a tissue. And if it's a skirt or a dress, forget about it. Once a woman starts using a purse, she is essentially purse dependant, because moving things from purse to backpack to pocket is the best way to lose or forget something important. I have been enslaved by my company dress code and by my purse. *sulks*

I don't know, but when you figure it out, please tell me, because I have the same problem with girls. I'm trying to learn how to relax. I am told this helps. I have a few friends who have a talent for this and they are very relaxing to be around, and people tend to like them for that. I'm going to give it a shot. |

Please don't confuse stupid women with all women. Having money is definitely a plus but most of us aren't that shallow. Of course people only seem to remember those who are. It's like what my mom always told me, "When you do good, no one remembers. When you do bad, no one forgets." Once some women start acting like cunts then men seem to think it applies to all of us. The quickest way to lose points with a woman is to stereotype senselessly, so remember that. I mean, how would you like it if a girl whent up to you and said "All men are pigs"? It'd turn you off or make you a bit mad, right? By the way, women are hardly the only ones that can be gold-diggers. And we carry purses to carry our stuff in. Duh? |

We carry purses around because we have no place else to put all of our stuff. Unlike most pants made for men, our pants have very small pockets if they have any pockets at all. Not to mention it would look stupid if we had a wallet protruding from out butt. Women also normally carry around a lot more stuff than men, and while we hate carrying the stupid thing around, it is still nice to be able to have things with you when you need them. |

Sorry, I just got a little offended that in her first post she claimed that everything my Girlfriend and I told one of our friends about starting a relationship and keeping a good conversation going was wrong, even though I have been doing this semi-successfully for years...
