I hope to go on to college and I'm hoping for MIT or failing that, University of Florida. Anywhere with a Nuclear Engineering program would be nice. I gotta build me some reactors and such. |

I graduated recently, and I STILL feel I don't know anything. The higher in education you go, the more you realize you don't know. |

I am a Junior at Missouri University of Science and Technology (just changed the name from University of Missouri-Rolla) and I know for a fact we have a good Nuc E department on campus (they even have a mini reactor on the campus "http://nuclear.mst.edu/research/reactor.html"). We have something like 250 different business's show up for our semesterly career fairs from all over the country. Were not as high up there as Caltech or MIT but not far behind either. I know Caterpiller, Boeing, and Anheuser-Busch are in love with us (Caterpiller has its own campus day). The downside we are in the middle of NOWHERE, the campus is the biggest thing around. They like giving away scholarships too, I hit something like a 33 on ACT and they gave me something like 3/4 cost of school. |

Really, I just picked electrical because I wanted to build guitar amps and such, but robotics looks pretty fun, if not hard. Oh, and if anyone is reading this that goes to highschool and wishes to attend college, know this: college is an entirely different style of learning than high school. I don't want to get more specific so I can avoid going off on a rant. |

I've finally decided to head off into the nursing program. I may be easily amused but one thing doesn't seem to hold my attention for too long. I enjoy mostly everything I did in school, I just needed to find something that actually made me happy while doing it. I'm sure nursing can do that for me. ^_^ |

*Snatches compliment* Thanks, that's the wonder of the internet. No matter how young you are, you can sound like you know it all. Of course, since I'm a teenager, I do know it all. In fact, once you leave high school, you automatically lose all of those bright, idealist views about saving the world and join The Man. I'm sure it's written down as a law somewhere, right along with "Don't Trust Anyone Over 30".
Yeah, it seems there are a disproportionate amount of NE courses you can take out in the middle of nowhere. In fact, the other day I found out about a nuclear engineering class running in Bismarck! Of all places, North Dakota was the last place I'd look for that sort of thing. |

I apologize if this was already done, but I couldn't find it when I searched.
Now then, I was reading an article about dreading weekday mornings because of school, and thought to myself "Self, what do you think the majority of your posting peers are scholastically?" So I ask you, what are you in terms of school?
I'm a college freshman, for the record.
