hey guys, smallharmlesskitten here.

I was wondering what your favourite song to game to is, you can attach it to a game if you want too

my choices would be

The device has been modified- Victims of science = for portal
Through the fire and flames- Dragon force= Fighting games or fast paced shooters
Dota (does have a longer name)- Basshunter= DotA

Me and some of my friends have a Holy Diver Montage. When ever we play this while playing Gears of War online we do better for some reason.

Winning is enough to make it the best game.

Clubbed to Death (Kurayamino Mix) by Rob Dougan never, ever gets old. And it fits everything, one way or another. Tension and action are accentuated, and mundane events like what you'd see in the Sims become funny.

Anything by Dragonforce.
Hard Rock Hallelujah or Blood Red Sandman by Lordi.

If you ever need any other music, you're doing something wrong.

Anything by Dragonforce or Nightwish, but my favorites are Through the fire and flames, Ghost Love Score, and Dark Chest of Wonders.

my choices would be

The device has been modified- Victims of science = for portal
Through the fire and flames- Dragon force= Fighting games or fast paced shooters
Dota (does have a longer name)- Basshunter= DotA

You have shamed the names of fast paced shooters with your Dragon Force bile.
Twitchers like Halo and Unreal require music that screams for blood throughout the ages. And only Behemoth's "Conquer all" can pay that bill.
Someone said Wierd Al for Dead Rising...Couldn't agree more.
Van Halen and Lordi go good any time.

You have shamed yourself in not understanding the pure amounts of EPIC and AWESOME that Dragonforce manage to push into every single song through use of lyrics almost exclusively about dragons and brave people, as well as TWO five-minute guitar solos/song, on average.
Sometimes when you play fast paced shooters, you want to feel like a hero, not like some dirty psychopath with a gun.
Ergo, Dragonforce + Fast Paced Shooter = Pure Win.

FPS (run and gun type) = techno, gets the adrenaline flowing and can up your reaction time.
FPS (Sniping) = Downtempo techno, keeps you calm and allows you to aim better.
RPG (Any Single Player) = in game music usually works, but if it sucks I will probably just not listen to music at all
MMO (Any) = unless I am soloing or doing something completely by myself I will always have the music off and the sound really low.

But as far as a specific song... well that have between Hybrid - Finished Symphony & Crystal Method - Name Of The Game.

I'll see your rebuttle, and raise you a lack of creative structure on their half.

I usually compile a playlist for my gaming adventures.

For WoW, I really like
"Dance with the Devil" by Breaking Benjamin
"In Brief War" by Charon
and other songs of similar tempo
