I consider my hometown to be Los Angeles(Born in Minnesota, raised in 10 different states from Maine to Texas to California and many points in between, but spent a majority of my life in Los Angeles. When I was 20, it was right about 50%...). My Step-father was in the Coast Guard, and I later joined myself... |

... That would be cool. But, I mean, we have you in Perth, Purple and Cooper in Brisbane, and several others, like Markness, Dingo and myself in Sydney (and you have Fire and jim in Wollongong), making it really hard for all of us to get to a set location. Oh, and I'm a weedy 15 year-old, who's got a somewhat dark skin colour and a mop of a head... yeh, you're not really missing out on much by meeting me. |

You a real man now. The Escapist meeting up sounds like a good idea but where we will we meet, and when and why? |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 7773 Joined: 30 Jan 2008 | Australia is a pretty big place. With Jetstar, we might be able to get to a place for a day relatively cheap (I think they said $79 return airfare in some ads), but even then how would we decide where? Leaving that aside, what would we do on said day? Edit: I just had this great mental image of people holding up a row of signs in the arrivals. "Robertson" "Fukyaska" "Mcgraith" "Purplerain" "Stompy" "Fire Daemon". Sounds like something the Chaser would do. Maybe they could sponsor us, just to film that scene. |

A pan-Australian LAN would be practically impossible but I don't see any problem with some sort of online shindig. Pick a game and we should be able to get it, or we could have a chat server of some sort. |
