Hmmm, I'd say when I was a sophomore in high school, so I guess I was about 16.

You sir are a man of class and taste, because let's remember, what is face compared to the beard that weilds it, on a less serious note though, started seriously growing for me around 19, but facial hair growth is radically different depending on your national origin so that if anything could give you a guess of how fierce your beard will extrude itself.

I've got nothing yet, but I hope to have a nice, full bushy beard on of these days. Something to stroke while I'm thinking.

I'm currently attempting to grow a moustache so awesome that I can hide a switchblade in it. Can you imagine what it would be like for someone who tried to mug me?

You can have my facial hair then, Larenxis. I've not got much (Cause I keep shaving it all off) but the damn stuff grows fast. I'd much rather to be completely free of facial hair. Of course, it stands to reason that the rest of my body's covered in lots of hair as well. If I ever took pills that increased body hair growth, I swear I'd look like Cousin It before too long.

It started grown to the point that I had to shave near the end of my freshman year. I was 15 then.

For me it was around 16 or something I guess.
But a friend of mine already grew a serious goatee by then. I guess it all depends on your hormone build or something.

I've always wanted a beard too... when I was a little kid, but then my dad told me that girls cant grow beards....

18. I didn't have to start shaving every day until I was out of bootcamp. I had a ghoatee fopr a while, then decided to drop it in support of the writer's strike (I called it my Reverse Strike Beard because I was in the middle of a messy divorce and couldn't afford to go to court looking all unshaven and just unclean... Plus I could tell that it had a big psychological impact on my ex-wife because she was the one who wnated me to grow it. I liked it, so I kept it, but shaving it worked wonders on her...) Some days I think about growing it again, then just realize I don't care for it anymore...

Now 20 years old and still needs to shave a pitiful once a week.

On the plus side it's really easy to keep that 'fashionably stubbly' look going.

i was about 16 when i had to start shaving every few days....felt so proud :P lol

my only problem is it comes in blonde brown and ginger at different times which makes some of it seen and some not so people think its patchy :S :(

I had a full beard when I was freshman in High School. That would be when I was 14, by the way. And we're not talking peach fuzz or a few random hairs here or there; my yearbook photo shows that I had a full Viking beard.

I've had to start shaving regulaly in the last few months and I'm 16. I tried to grow a beard though and it just looked like there was some odd mold on my face.

My facial hair actually started around 9 or 10 years old.

Hell, i already have a slight goatee! I'm planning on having one of those beard/mustache combos like my dad.

I started shaving in eight grade. I now have a very nice goatee.

Good news for me!

I'm adamantly against facial hair when trying to kiss. I've grown more used to it due to different experiences with different men, but my... let's just say "man of choice" (long story attached here) has a goatee and somehow it doesn't bother me unless he doesn't trim it and it's like in my nose when we're trying to kiss, lol. I know I'm not the kind of girl who goes "Ew, facial hair. Guess I can't date him," so my guess would be that as long as it's neat and trimmed, you're probably safe.

I grew a beard because I couldn't be bothered to shave in term 1 of uni... I'll probably shave to get a summer-job however.

My beard is 2 different colours. Its ginger on the sides and black down the middle. I start growing a Gorden Freeman beard at about 16 and still have it after 5 years. But since I stopped working I only shave every now and then so I grow a full beard every week.

I've got a run-away case of peach-fuss. It's not funny anymore... I really need to shave. It started last year, and now it's outa control. Oh, and I'm 15...

I reckon if I don't shave till I get to uni (~3 years), I'll get a beard to rival Gandolf.

I've had to shave regularly for about a year, so 14-15 for me. There's one guy my age who's grown a beard. He looks ridiculous. Teenagers and facial hair is generally a bad combination. Unless, y'know, you're actually going for that "unwashed hobo" style. Or you look like a viking. That'd be awesome.

not unless you're trying to look older so you can get into bars and such, i know more than one under age kid that tried that and a lot were sucessful
