There are some movies that I need to be in a certain mood to watch, but I can watch either one of these at any given time no matter what else is going on. |

The bank robbery movie with people in painter's gear you're thinking of is Inside Man. Really good film. |

Excellent choice sir! My wife and I have it on DVD, which made for interesting viewing. Whenever I watched it on TV, the translations for Corey Feldman's dialogue were edited out, so that section never made any sense. |

Beat Writer Posts: 168 Joined: 14 May 2008 | Somehow it doesn't seem fair to include Star Wars in mine, since I really couldn't be sure whether I was voting for watching the film itself, or the memory of watching the film. The Shortlist: The Life of Brian And the award goes to... Mulholland Drive. I watched it for the first time four or five years ago, and once it was finished, I just thought, 'I don't get that at all'. Then about half an hour later, I decided I wanted to see it again, and did so. I've never done that with a film before, let alone one that is two-and-a-half hours long. Several viewings later, I think I get most of it now, but there are still some gaps. There's something special about a film that lets you do the thinking. |

Heheh, that's funny. For some reason, I thought Mulholland Drive was, like, some stupid chick flick or something. But I just looked it up on imdb and it looks good, I'll have to check it out. some of my fave movies: |

Press Junketeer Posts: 385 Joined: 21 Jun 2008 | Desperado, El Mariachi and Iron Man. The first two I've loved for a long time, just the concept is fantastic and original. Iron Man on the other hand I grew up with (the comics) and when they made a movie this faithful, well it was only natural. |

Oh and there's Fight Club of course. One of Palahniuks other novels, "Choke", has been adapted too recently. Due to release in september. |

Hmm...
I recently saw a movie I really liked. I forget the title though. It was about the ultimate bank robbery and all the robbers dressed everyone as either painters or as graffiti artists. Could have gone either way.
I can't decide. Edward Scissor Hands was funny with a dark touch to it, but that's the only one I can really think of. Castle in the Sky and Spirited Away were also good...
Probably a tie between all of those.
AHH! I FORGOT STARWARS! A part of my Nerd pride just vaporized as if it were a bad explosion in the original star trek series.
Oh wait, now it's back.
