Everyone has a favourite word, even if they never get to use it.

I like 'Inquistion' and all the other ways: 'Inquire' 'Inquistor'
I have never known why and I've yet to say it in normal coversation, but it would be damn cool!

Also the word booby is great. Not the actual connotation of the word, but just the way it sounds. It rolls off the tounge. (No, that wasn't a pun!)

I like the word Inquisitor, it demands respect and a hell of a lot of fear.

I also like the word Onomatopoeia, sounds nothing like it's meaning and is pretty big.

I like the words 'Assassin' and 'Assassination'. It's just the way they sound when you say them. 'Amalgamation' is good too.

Sunder, hyperbole, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, and, for the inherent irony, abbreviation.

Mine's a toss-up between Correlation and Bollocks. Correlation because it makes me sound smart and Bollocks because it's just awesome.

Supercilious. No, it doesn't mean you are super silly. Well I guess it does, in a roundabout sort of way.

Sofa... It tastes like dates (the fruit) and almost sounds like so far... So far so good let's sit on a sofa :)

Magnetohydrodynamics, Supercalifragilistic-expialidocious, Methionylthreonyl...(189778 letters)...glutaminylserxisoleucine and the way the butler says "fruwit" in dinner for one.

Hmm.... this is a hell of a question. I love words! I can't think of just ONE in English, so I'll default to French, where my favourite word without question is "crepuscule" ("twilight").

"Individual". One day when I was a quite young I saw the word "individual" and, like Neo in the Matrix, suddenly saw and understood both the word as a whole and the component parts that made it up and gave it its meaning.

In-divi-dual: Can not be cut in two.

"Irony" is also a great word, and every time I see it carelessly defiled by another American who thinks they know what it means, a little piece of me dies inside.

That looks like what assassin would sound like if Sean Connery said it.

By the way, I think I'm going to have to add specious to my list.

Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. aka: the fear of long words. That word is just cool, better if I could pronounce it.

So many of my favourite words just happen (I swear!) to be sexual words, whether directly or not. Orgasm, vulva, chlamydia, coitus, post-coital, menage a trois, etc: all of them just have a lovely flow to them.
Edit: Once I got a fetish for the word "innuendo" and said it so many times that it eventually annoyed a friend next to me. Then I said it some more.
Edit 2: Plumbous is nice, too.

I like how it sounds so blunt, too. I also like me some Revenge. Justice comes at a close second.

I agree with assassin/assassinate. But one of my favorites is "Armada", it kinda rolls of the tongue and inspire concern and fear when you hear it. "oh noes teh a massive enemy navy is coming"

my favorite word is incoherent because you can use it in conversation a few times and it sounds cool.

Assassin, analysis, Dickinson, a couple other ones I can't be bothered to remember.

See if you can figure out why I like those words.

Hash. It goes with Hash Browns and hashing someone to death...I think.
Falafel. Just say it!
Insubordination. It sounds totally commander-like.
