Sorry, I have a huge fetish for Favorite [Insert-Topic-Here] forums. This time it's songs. So what's yours? Mine's tied between:

Paralyzer - Finger Eleven
The Kids Aren't Allright - The Offspring
Highway Star - I have it by Deep Purple, but I don't have a clue if that's true or not.
Maybe not my FAVORITE, but definitely in the top ten: Violet Hill - Coldplay

EDIT: I promise to download and listen to at least one song from each of your list.

Nice choices, Duck!
The Animals, just got it, it's great!

Duck Sandwich has a similar taste of music to me.

My favorite song hands down has to be Snake Eater as sung by Cynthia Harrell

Entertainment, by Gravenhurst. The live version. Good luck finding it, it was only on a promo cd of a magazine years ago :p

The Animals - House of the Rising Sun

the most emotive organ solo ever. i love that song
i've never heard an original folk version though, before Muddy Waters (i think) did it.

"Juke Box Hero" from Foreigner.

Anything else from Foreigner or Lou Gramm in his solo years.

Foreigner is amazing. My favourite band.

And then there's "Weird" Al Yankovic. He's my hero.
