That, webcomics, MSN (if that's counted), research (both school and not) and general interblarg surfing. OH, and a bit of BF2142, anime watching, and other video watching (bar porn of course). |

The other day my friend made a fleeting reference to a friend at Uni, to which I could then tell him her last name and several other facts about her... despite not having ever met her, just because of Facebook. |

No, I don't spend my entire day on the internet. I usually just check them all in the morning for updates and then go do other stuff. |
Press Junketeer Posts: 469 Joined: 14 May 2008 | I lurk on these forums and enjoy my Stumble button entirely too much for my own good. I usually don't find other forums to my liking. I enjoy the level of moderation on this one because I deal with less stupid people (aka trolls). My computer's practically always on my lap when I'm home, but for the most part I'll have one of the couple of books I'm working on open. I'm constantly reading through what I have to add, subtract, or fix things, hoping it'll spur my imagination into writing something to come next. Understandably, my plot gets jagged and confusing, but that's easily fixed after the fact, lol. I'd like to do more PC Gaming and I know my laptop will support a nice chunk of games that are out, but it's over a year old and can't support some of the newer ones, for sure. I'd rather have a really nice desktop machine for Gaming; less chance of carpal tunnel and back issues. I don't even have a mouse to hook up to this laptop; it's just me, the tiny keyboard, and the touch pad. I priced a pretty good gaming desktop from Dell at $1,300 yesterday, but I'm incapable of saving up that much money with my piss-poor paycheck. |

It would for me too, except that my masochistic friends and I have taken the 40 days and 40 nights challenge togehter, or rather the Until Every Other Bugger Gives In challenge. |

I usually have something or another that I'm looking up online to pass the time... Last two weeks was my plan to buy a motor scooter, so I was looking up courses for my license, helmets and gear, and where I was going to buy one from. When I have nothing else to do, I tend to work on my website for my BFKS project. Mondays, new Looking For Group comic |

A motor-scooter, or motorcycle? If you're getting the latter, I'd suggest a KBC helmet. I've been in 5 motorcycle accidents in my time riding. 4 of which involving 1-or-more cars, and only my first was just me letting the bike slide out when I hit a gravel patch. That helmet (and a shit ton of luck) allowed me to get up and walk away from every one of those situations with not but a few scratches. As for LFG, I read it too..however, I try to wait about a month before I go in to read them. LFG just leaves this sense of incompletion with a single comic...I've got to read 3-4 to get satisfaction out of it. Especially with the current "Serious-storyline" approach they're on. |

I feared that if I didn't say "Besides Porn" I might get 4-6 pages of one-liners reading "Porn" "Pr0n" "Sporn" and other variants of the word. |

So it's more like "the bet" from Seinfeld. I did that too, I was the sixth person to lose out of ten. I like to read these forums, read webcomics, learn random facts on wikipedia, watch yu-gi-oh the abridged series, and obviously zero punctuation. |

Besides Porn, what do those of you out there in Virtual Suburbia do to kill time, or have fun on the intarwebz?
I personally find myself browsing a few forums here and there, reading the webcomics when they're updated. And on Wednesdays watching the Zero Punct. review for the week (and checking for a new unforgotten realms). Also, I will spend an hour or so playing CoD4, occasionally messing with the Spore creator, and even more rare tapping into one of my dusty oldies; Diablo(1&2), Sins of a Solar Empire, Ye olde C&C...but I find myself bored quickly with those overplayed has-beens.
Mostly though I find myself wishing Diablo III, or Fable 2 was out...either that or a good 'ol fashioned Gear-Grinding (non-MMO) dungeon crawler...like Diablo, Diablo II, Champions of Norrath, Baldur's Gate, and D&D Heroes...Sadly, a dying Genre.
Sorry about that tangent there; Anyways...Don't get me wrong, I jog 8 miles a day, play ice-hockey 3 days out of the week, and ride a bike with my wife 2 days out of the week..so I'm no shut-in.
However; occasionally when I've read the forums, checked my email, and know that I'm up to date on the web-comics I read, I find myself sitting at the computer thinking. Ok...what now?
