Sad that Zero Punctuation no longer begins and ends the reviews with wonderfully spot-on, ironic or sarcastic songs? Well then, here's where we come in! Suggest the songs you'd think would be perfect for each new game as reviewed. That way Yahtzee's getting his cake and we get to live in denial. It's win-win!

My suggestions so far:

LEGO INDY
Opening:
'Blockbuster' by Sweet
Closing: 'Whip It' by Devo or 'Doctor Jones' by Aqua

ALONE IN THE DARK
Opening:
'I'm So Wonery' by Trey Parker (Team America soundtrack)
Closing: 'In The Shadows' by The Rasmus

I'm sure you can do better! Any ideas?

Ending: 'Heart Of Darkness' by Grave Digger

Alone in the Dark
Opening: The Dark Eternal Night by Dream Theater
Ending: A Dark Passage by Blind Guardian

Just typed "dark" into my iTunes search. Forget creative thinking.

While I think there's nothing wrong with the actual thread, the OP should've put it in Off-Topic or Forum games.

No. Do you really think we think Yahtzee is reading this post and taking notes?

We can all dream.
Me, I've said it once and I'll say it again. The new intro and outro are EPIC! Especially that squeedly guitar solo during the credits.

I will eat my hat if he actually reads these. He allegedly agonizes over having to check his own email.

I actually like the new music, although it'll probably get old right about the time everyone else is warming up to it.

Aha,

Frosk:
Alone in the Dark:

Opening: All By Myself - Green Day

Aha, now that's a cool one!

I just want to clear something up in case a moderator is watching this thread with his mouse finger hovering over the 'Lock' button, this is just for fun. I do like the new music and style of Zero Punctuation, but I will always miss the exceptionally cool and appropriate music choices. I don't think this thread does any harm, just speculation on what might have been...

if you look a moderator has already commented on this page advising you too comment on peoples choices so I think your safe for the moment. your biggest challenge is keeping the thread on track it seems.

Indiana Jones theme- John Williams
Lego-The Maccabees

not the most original choices I know

Bah, I think Necro's got enough fight in him to take on Root. A Dr. Who avatar is no match for uh...whatever that thing Necro has. Not too sure what's going on there...

The closing credits should be "fuck off" by Reel Big Fish.

Well, I don't know about the two done before (except perhaps Toy Soldiers for Lego Indy and Through The Black for Alone In The Dark) but for future reviews, if he lasts that long

Infamous
Play For Blood (The "With Fire and Lightning shooting from my hands" lyric) - Megadeth
Heaven and Hell - Black Sabbath

I can see him ussign Handlebars by Flobots, but then again it is a bit more "gentle" then i would think him.

I dont know, I rather enjoyed when he did a different set for every review.

Oh well i guess all we can really do is bitch and make sujestion that well never be taken into consideration.

You know just to be Ironic
Alone in the dark:-
Both intro and outro: Sunshines and lollipops

You're no longer in the dark and every thing is on fire in the game

I miss the intro outro songs as they were extra jokes. Remember Army Of Two? I pissed myself when I heard "Two little boys had two little toys..."
At least he puts in that filmed part after the credits to balance out this loss.

LEGO INDIANA
"Bits and pieces" The Dave Clark Five
"Whip It" Devo (know its been suggested but I giggled)

I did the same when "Detachable Penis" was used.
Yeah it's a shame, but lets face it, he can do what he wants, it's his video. It is a bit more professional, and, as he pointed out in the first video he used the new intro in, he's been using copyrighted music.

I know he did an intro song for it, but I was really surprised that he didn't use "I Melt With You" by Modern English for his The World Ends With You review...

Nah, he'd never use songs that obvious. Besides, the ones Yahtzee chose for those two were great!

Any more songs about muscle-men or being naked for Age of Conan? There must be loads, surely!

Macho Man - spot on, brilliant!

Haven't heard the second one, but will get on it! Is it about being naked?
