nah mate, Catwoman was always a form of cheap sex appeal, it really wouldn't fit well with were they appear to be taking the movies (namely, as far as hell away from the old ones as possible). |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1928 Joined: 15 Jun 2008 | Just seen it, it was incredible, what a final role for Ledger. Phenomenal performance, genuinely disturbing and kind of how I always saw the Joker. Little hint dropped by Fox suggests Catwoman might make an appearance in the next one, which could be interesting. I know there were rumours that Philip Seymour Hoffman might play the Penguin at some point, no idea if there is any meat to that. Riddler shouldn't be next, would be too much like they are remaking the previous series, and their are better, less campy villians to utilize. problem is, some of them are a tad on the unbelievable side. Liked Scarecrow's little cameo too. |

Ok, Clayface, Ivy and possibly Killer Croc wouldn't work so well with the gritty realism of the films. Ventriloquist is a lame villain sadly. Bane *miiight* work, if they make the Venom a little less OTT. |

I'd like to see either Black Mask, Great White Shark, Hugo Strange (not as the main antagonist but hindering Batman on the side). The Penguin is just a genius gangster with one too many blows from the Fugly Stick. |

His face didn't melt, it just got third degreee burns. They also had to cut off the skin on his cheeks. |

I can see refusing to watch Batman Begins in anything but IMAX because some of the scenes were shot using IMAX cameras (first time, ever.) But are you saying you refuse to watch movies in anything but the IMAX? Because that's really limiting yourself to some crappy movies, most of the time. |

Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 794 Joined: 22 Mar 2008 | Though the movie was good, it seems everyones hyping it to hell, AGAIN. This is just like what happened to Grand Theft Auto 4, the movie had its flaws. |

Although I disapprove of your lack of punctuation and capitals, I do approve of your opinion. I did enjoy Michael Cain as the butler, and (of course) Heath Ledger as the Joker. I really wouldn't be surprised if Ledger won Best Actor, even though he's dead. I think many people will agree when I say that I hated Bruce Wayne. He just seemed like the kind of dickhead that I have to deal with at school, pardon my French. Overall, though, Wall-E will have to impress for best movie of 2008 for me, as it is the movie that I am anticipating with great... anticipation. Brilliant movie, but it would never been good if it weren't for good ol' Heath. He was so convincing, and he had you on the edge of your seat, never expecting what he would do next. |

1st Point - Yes. Agreed. 3rd Point - I would actually prefer it that way, myself. Hmm... George Clooney as Batman?
Spoiler Alert, man! |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2501 Joined: 3 Mar 2008 | I just know that someone will disturb the peace and say that Heath Ledger was an unconvincing Joker. There's always that kind of person. |

i don't think he deserves an oscar for the role HOWEVER it was the best joker i've seen, between him and the script and the director, they got the joker down really well Jack was a good joker but he wasn't psychotic enough, he was more funny than crazy |

He made the character terrifying. And I loved every minute of it. This will go down as one of my favorite comic book movies, hell, one of my favorite movies! |
Paperboy Posts: 38 Joined: 17 Apr 2008 | I saw the Dark Knight in Imax and even though I was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up front and the sound made me almost deaf for five minutes after the movie let out I still Friggen' loved it. I just have one Question. WhY sO sErIoUs!!?? |
Paperboy Posts: 38 Joined: 17 Apr 2008 | Miley Cyrus wasn't in Dark Knight and I don't think she drinks(not sure on the drinking one) The only girl who was a main character was Maggie Gyllinhaal (Sorry about the spelling on her last name) |

He really does deserve that oscar too! This was a phenominal performance by him and it'd be a crime for him not to get it.
