Because I believe that most, if not all, people's sexuality should be private, and that's just my statement. Apart from that, anyone under 18 probably has only a vague notion of their own sexuality. Hell, a number of people over 60 still don't. |

It's trendy. I for one do not rule out the possibility of a homosexual attraction, but have never found any guy to BE attractive, so I would list m'self as straight. |

Since I didn't know what to call someone such as myself, one who finds no interest in anyone (in that way), I asked a dorm-mate what we should call me, and we decidd upon "asexual." So, I'm a 19 year old asexual male. I will say, it makes life easier when nothing arouses you (makes it easier to ignore all sexist coments, and stay out of "Who would you do?" talks). |

Like Khell said, it's the "cool" thing to be right now. Also, most people under 18 haven't had the opportunity to try either gender, and so can't be trusted to make the choice. Oh, and mostly heterosexual male 17 year old here. |
