Muckraker Posts: 300 Joined: 2 Jun 2008 | Last game purchase was Battlefield: Bad Company it's nothing greatly special, made by EA so it feels a bit tarnished but it's probably the best FPS your going to find during the new release drought. Non game purchases some bacci this morning and some jeans nothing greatly exciting. |
Muckraker Posts: 335 Joined: 28 May 2008 | I just got I Am Legend on DVD although I've already seen it twice, and the 28 days/weeks later box set as well (god I love those films, there better be a third one). Games wise, I just bought Unreal Tournament 3 for 360 because I play PC FPS's like a quadriplegic plays lacrosse. Gotta say I'm pretty pleased with it although it supposedly won't live up to its PC counterpart's standard. |
Paperboy Posts: 20 Joined: 4 Mar 2008 | Ordered that 5 DVD final cut version of Blade Runner recently. I just love that movie so much. Nice treat, esp. the Philip K. Dick interviews. The only collector's edition I've ever bought. Also, a nice shirt'n jacket that satisfy me on a shallow, non-intellectual fashion level. I'm hooked on instant gratification. |

Got Bad Company myself 3 days ago. I think it's a pretty decent game, it's got some of the best sound I've ever heard in an action-game. I play it a lot online, and except for the hit detection sometimes being weird, I'm having a good time! |

Original or remake? (has both) Hmmm... haven't had much money for a while, so no cd/dvd/game/book purchases... last thing i bought was back in the UK, bought the graphic novel treatment of Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter- Guility Pleasures, part one. A present for my fiance (I have the books right up til book 12, that was the point where i just got sick of all the preternatural sex taking the place of actual plot.) |

Copy Clerk Posts: 81 Joined: 6 Apr 2008 | Most recent game purchase was CoD4, last week. I know, kinda late on the bandwagon right? I had borrowed it a few months ago from a friend who had beaten the campaign, and didn't have Xbox Live. Then he inevitably got Live, and wanted it back. I've been meaning to buy it for the last several months, and haven't been able to scrape up enough dough to buy it until this week. |

Copy Clerk Posts: 108 Joined: 15 Jun 2008 | Most recent buy game wise: PS3 and MGS4. I was originally going to wait until I finished other games (bioshock, zelda, crisis core, etc..) but a friend of mine then showed me in person how awesome the game was and it was a huge punch to the face. Never did I feel so wrong in my life and realized: "I need this now." And this was right after I just bought a new iMac. Talk about indulging! Most recent buy as of now: Diet Dr. Pepper and pretzels. |

SPORILER ALERT. I didn't like how the guy they arrested didnt rip the cell down open like he did in the comic. SPOILER ENDS. That would have been sweet! |

Sure, I've already gotten RE4 for the GC and Wii, but my sister stole my GC copy and the Wii version is horrifically easy. The massive dead zones on the PS2 analogue sticks are so much more fun than the Wii's point'n'slaughter approach. Also some throwing knives. They look pretty. |

Well I just blindly bought 30 Days of Night the movie. Like the film student drawn to a flame, the 'special edition' box and comic for only $19.95 suckered me right in. I haven't watched it yet, so here's to fingers crossed.
