My theory : The government promotes casual sex through the media in order to distarct us. After all, if we're busy having sex, we don't notice things that they're doing.

Well where should I start?

The Weapons of Mass Destruction were just a big typo. They obviously just went over to Iraq to get the oil, than after Sadam ordered the oil wells to be burnt out, they eventually started to lead troops out of Oilstan.

Also the Imperial Guard in warhammer are based around home guard troops. With this, the government saying if you become a home guard, you will be a weak little trooper whose off to face sudden death. While with Space Marines, if you enlist in over seas conflicts you will become a huge armour cladded super soldier. Capable of wrestling rhinos covered in cougars and women will instantly flock to you. You'll also be able to take about 500 bullets to the head, and still walk on.

It's not really a conspiracy theory, but I do have a theory that spiders are space rats.

that's not a conspiracy. that's just a truthful statement about propaganda. a conspiracy is when you go for example "Gordan Brown is an Illuminate Puppet" and start going on about the Bilderberg Group

Also some aliens done came over my trailer park and they abducted my dog and impregnated my wife. The gub'ment came and took them though, so it all worked out in the end.

I haven't seen Zeitgeist, but looking at the synopsis I can clarify my own theories by saying "Pretty Much That." Well, the religious bits anyway.

I for one, am not entirely convinced by that film I watched (can't remember the name).
Yeah, so the support girders were cut through with that stuff used in demolitions. Doesn't neccessarily mean the government did it, does it? If these people have the ability to highjack planes, then surely they could manage to get into a (presumably) restricted part of a building?
I could say more on the subject, but people don't always read long paragraphs.
And I can't remember much else of the film.

The Anarchist Cookbook scared me. It was a bit of a laugh when my friend told me he tried to call the President's red emergency phone and got a busy signal, but I assumed most of it was either so illegal even thinking about doing it was against the law, ridiculously stupid/dangerours to try, and probably a load of absolute bullcrap.
That said, a blotto box would be tremendous fun if one actually exsited/could be used without killing everyone in a 2 mile radius.

The Napalm one is legit.

i only watched that part of the movie, i turned it off after that. it's got some valid points however it's a bit off with some of the time

Agree completely, it's like Michael Moore's stuff. There's some truth in there, but the "THIS IS THE TRUTH" agenda just hit my gag reflex.

Zimbabwae was handed to ZANU-PF by the CIA and MI6 for PR purposes, because while having a bunch of dutchies wiping out the natives is entirely acceptable, it's much worse if they all speak Queen's English.

Hey, not all conspiracy theorists are wrong. There were people accusing one of Bush's ancestors of trying to overthrow the US government in WWII. They were called crazy for decades till we found it was true.

I don't believe this one, but the whole "We never landed on the moon" one piques my interest. There are some valid points and some valid rebuttals.

I get my bomb recipes from Fight Club. Paraffin never works for me.

most "out there" conspiricy theories dont make a lick of sense to me. I don't think that it's in any government's interest to lie to its people, particularly in the realm of science and technology. I mean what's the point in claiming you haven't made contact with alien life? or that you haven't developed a cure for aids? or whatever if it weren't true. The Moon landing one, though scientifically rebuked several thousand times, is the only one i can see having legit grounds on that it was supposed to be propaganda.
