If what you say is true, i'd rather die that watch THIS move. Why would we wanna watch a movie of movies we've already seen? Done in a worse way? and it just sounds tasteless already. Yeesh... will they make original movies now? PLZ?! |

I didn't bother with the rest, and won't be bothered to see any of them ever again. Hey, as long as they are not ripping off some Asian movies in its entirety (My Sassy Girl and Bangkok Dangerous are the newest I have heard of) then I'm not too upset. |

The only time I laughed for "Meet the Spartans" was the Hot Gates highway sign. A few minutes later I left; making this one of the handful of time I actually stop watching a movie midway through due to boredom. |

Pulitzer Laureate  Posts: 735 Joined: 12 Apr 2008 | I think the problem is that the original writers for Scary Movie all split off for the spinoffs, and so often they depend purely on gag references to other films and have lost that substance you see in Scary Movie 1 & 2. |

okay this a problem thats just getting out of hand. i'm sick and tired of all these spoof movies that keep coming out in theaters nowadays. I mean come on, the scary movie series was okay when it came out, hell i could even accept date movie even though at some parts were horrible. But then epic movie came out and i realized this plague wasnt going to stop anytime soon. next there was superhero movie and now i'm hearing about this new one called disaster movie and i'm starting to think its going to live up to its name. i watched the preview and from what i understand it is a mix of Iron man, Hancock, Sex in the City, Juno, and...er...Hannah Montana. and i saw a meteor fall down like in cloverfield so i'm assuming its in there too. there was even a part where the girl who was supposed to be the pregnant girl from Juno did that stupid Zohan trick to the person who was supposed to be Sarah Jessica Parker for the sex and the city spoof. (by the way she was played by a guy...um...yeah)so junogirl does the zohan trick to sarahjessicaparkerman and says, with the enthusiasm of a brick wall, kicks her in the face with her feet and says "now smell my foot" then (and i cant believe this)says now heres my baby's foot. then all of a sudden a tiny foot kicks sarahjessicaparkerman in the face.
its horrible
