Beat Writer Posts: 149 Joined: 5 Aug 2008 | I have to go with religious freaks, they're so damn annoying. |
Paperboy Posts: 26 Joined: 6 Aug 2008 | Agreed with unholy vagrant. Also, not being able to take a compliment. You look good. "Nahhhhh." WTF? |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 851 Joined: 28 May 2008 | Selfishness. Really gets me when people are all take, take, take and are incredibly inconsiderate as a result of their self-absorption. |
Beat Writer Posts: 179 Joined: 13 Mar 2008 | Being unwilling to try something new. I'm a pretty open-minded person, and I generally give every new opportunity a hearty yes. I like to try and get into my boy's activities alongside him, and it annoys me when my boy won't do the same. Everything else is negotiable, but if I want to go on an adventure and you want to sit on the couch, it's not going to work. Edit edit edit edit: Militant atheism turns me off more than militant religion, actually. I am more likely to be friendly with someone who sees me as a good person with sinful habits than someone who considers me an idiot for entertaining the possibility of an afterlife. |

Indeed. Totally agree. Another thing I'll never be able to excuse or oversee is complainers. Don't get me wrong, complaining about your leg breaking is understandable/acceptable, but complaining about small insignifcant things like 'being bored' really irratates me. If you're bored do something about it! |
Muckraker Posts: 251 Joined: 4 Apr 2008 | im a jesus freak, get over it lets see, people who stereotype, people who judge based on appearence, ethnicity, age, gender and last but not least the french (just kidding I love you guys) |
Press Junketeer Posts: 460 Joined: 2 Jun 2008 | fatness plain and simple. sounds a bit shallow maybe don't really care. in my opinion fat people just look grotesque, it also suggests a low willpower and a poor Self-efficacy EDIT reading through religion is also a major turn off, coming from my own deeply scientific views and the fact that you cannot debate with them about it do to fideism. |

sortof what he said. I cannot overlook fat and lack of intelligence. People who have views deeply founded in religion is very difficult to argue with, I tend to just avoid them seeing how I love to discuss everything (including the paranormal, which is kinda impossible with someone religious) |
Muckraker Posts: 251 Joined: 4 Apr 2008 | some religious people actually believe in ghosts and paranormal stuff, just in a religious view |
Infamous Scribbler Posts: 641 Joined: 8 Jul 2008 | Women who curse excessively. If you can't find a more interesting way to express your feelings, then I don't think I want to know you. |

And I don't believe in ghosts, my views contradict everything that religion is. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 84 Joined: 22 Jan 2008 | Yep, instant turn-off. bedcause as soon as a girl starts chatting about Jesus and salvation and whatnot, I know its a lost cause; we just arent going to agree. on anything. ever |

Me too, but I'm fine if they're religous, so long as they don't try to convert me. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 95 Joined: 28 May 2008 | Religion is a pretty big turn-off. Imagine that you're flirting with a playboy bunny and all of a sudden she starts quoting the bible like an old librarian...jesus christ... |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 3656 Joined: 25 Jan 2008 | I don't know if one turnoff is greater than another, but my big ones would be; -Smoking I don't go for whoreish women, to me Paris Hilton has less sex appeal than Dick Cheney. I can't stand smokers, so from an attraction standpoint it's a definite no-go. I would take an intellectual woman with a compatible personality over looks any day of the week. And I am not into the inter-racial thing. I don't have a problem with other races, but I am not sexually attracted to most women of different race. There are exceptions, but we like what we like. Other lesser turn offs for me are weight, glasses, freckles and height, but these are things I can live with. (Except red hair combined with freckles, don't ask...) |
Press Junketeer Posts: 448 Joined: 4 Jul 2008 | The TC will probably hate me for this: Idiocy. Plain and simple, I can't deal with people who are stupid, incapable of logic, or ask incredibly dumb questions like "are you reading" (I'm sitting with a book in front of me). |
