alot of people just remember the time when joker dressed up as a nurse but one of my other favorites was when he took a guy hostage to get his phonecall

I was actually a big fan of the entire opening bank job. That scene set you up for Joker's wild runs later on by making you expect his crazy and bizarre twists right off the bat.

Personally, the only thing that would have made it better, is when the grenade blows out smoke, it popped the top open and a "BANG!" flag came out. But otherwise, it was flawless in execution for me.

How about a magic trick. I am going to make this pencil disappear...

I went with "I just want my phone call" (I don't actually like that scene the most, its just how he says that one line, as if it justifies his actions) but it was close as hell with "magic trick"

of the ones listed it has to be the magic trick, its just brutally brilliant. but in the film i have to agree with Yan-Yan, the opening bank job scene should def. be on there. and that deadpan line- 'no, im going to kill the bus driver'

"You have nothing, nothing to threaten me with, nothing you can do with all your strength"

The interrogation scene for me has to be the best scene from TDK, the ferocity of both actors was intense.

I loved the magic trick. However the rest of the cinema goes, "Oooh" and winces. I laugh mirthfully.

The magic trick was great, but I went with the hospital explosion. It's just what we needed you know? I'm so used to seeing people walk away all cool from a building they just blew up, and it was fantastic to have that cliche dismissed.

haha, as someone mentioned earlier i am a fan of the bank job at the start, the circle of betrayal.. "I know you're going to kill me" "no.... i kill the bus driver" "what?" CRASH.. lol

but also i'm a fan, as are many people, of the pencil trick and basically everything that happens at the hospital, from the nurse to his dissappointment when it does not blow up, to him waddling away in the nurse's outfit.

"I'm gonna make this pencil disappear."

Had to stifle a laugh for about 5 minutes after that scene.

You didn't expect it at all. You see a hospital turn into a huge fireball, but apparantly that isn't quite enough chaos for the Joker so he blows it up some more. Brilliant scene.

Well, every single one in the poll is Joker-fest, and I do feel that the entire time I just wanted to see more of that persona. To answer your question, both of the scars scenes.

Yeah, the building kind of collapsed a little, and he pauses, and I just thought, "Wait, That's IT?" and then he starts messing with his remote and I busted out laughing... I loved that, too.

Having worked at a hospital for a year and a half, the hand-sanitizer scene made me burst out laughing.

Remind me of that bit - I don't recall that one exactly.

After leaving the hospital room, the Joker cleans his hands with that hospital liquid soap. It's a small but funny part.

The hospitsal explosion scene overall was just brilliant, particulalry him setting it off while he's still inside, but that "thats it?" thing really was what sold it.

Out of the selection it has to be the magic trick
"Give me one reason why I shouldn't have my boy here pull your head off"...

Out of the whole film, the interrogation scene stands out for me, the joker is absolutely owning the batman

Not on the list but when hes in the interrogation room being watched by some guy then asks how many of his friends he has killed - the way he says "six" was hilarious

My favorite Charachters were The Joker, Harvey Dent, and Gordon.

Favorite scene with the joker in it is when he makes those guys fight to the death in order to join him after he killed that one black mobster.

The nurse... just for the absurdity of it... why would he dress up as a nurse but keep the make up? It's not like its a disguise! maybe he just liked to dress up... subtle, weird (slightly creepy) stuff like this really adds to the Joker's character and makes him so great to watch.
