Yes, I've seen you behaving yourselves. Yes, this was a low content thread, yes it was pretty stupid, but it brought all the trolls and flamers out from the woodwork didn't it? The Escapist is not some elitist club that only the finest minds can join, which is lucky because if it were, I'd have to eject a fair few of you. Rather than give a new user time to acclimatise you decided to set upon him like a pack of hyenas, which shows the forum in a simply wonderful light. I will but this in simple terms. If you see a thread you don't like or you think is inapproriate, report it or send a PM to a moderator. Then, ignore it! It doesn't get any more complicated than that. |
