Tried Chrome and it is pretty damn good, I'm just waiting for bugs to be worked out and plugin capabilities before switching to it. |

If you collect browsers, where is Konqueror? Where is w3m? Where the hell is Lynx? They're all in somewhat Windows-friendly format as well, if you go searching for them. |

Quad cores fuck up alot of stuff. |
Infamous Scribbler Posts: 516 Joined: 5 Jul 2008 | I use Opera. Would be using Chrome more if it were multiplatform. Sadly, it ain't. |

I used IE6 primarily until FF3 was released because I was lazy and ran into memory leak issues with Firefox (although I had Firefox installed for web dev stuff). Now I switched to FF3, and have been happy with it since. Main reason being the memory management improvements, along with a few really handy addons like Firebug+Yslow, and the web developer toolbar. |
Anonymous Source Posts: 4 Joined: 4 Sep 2008 | I use Firefox mainly. Chrome looks good and I like it so far. But what's it major flaw? Firefox has Memory Leaks, IE likes to take ages because of its many filters (Loading up your homepage takes almost 30 seconds which you can't press the stop button to stop!! (I'm on about when you first open the browser)), Opera displays pages irregulary and Safari crashes. |

As long as it isn't IE 1.6, it's all fine. |

Firefox's memory leaks are killer...it's what made me switch. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 71 Joined: 27 Aug 2008 | Firefox 3, and as far as I'm concerned it does it's job more than well enough. I'd consider trying chrome, but that EULA is just a bit too repulsive for me. |
Paperboy Posts: 30 Joined: 4 Sep 2008 | I am currently using Firefox 3, only thing I don't like is that realplayer havn't updated therir downloading tool, so if I want to download say flash video (youtube, the escapist etc.) I have to go over to Iexplorer or safari. |
Muckraker Posts: 250 Joined: 9 Jul 2008 | Another Opera fan. I used to use firefox, but with all the add-ons I was using, it ran incredibly slowly. Opera has nearly all of those features built in, and is very, very fast. Chrome is my backup browser right now because of its deceptively simple interface and quick performance. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1036 Joined: 9 Jul 2008 | I still use Internet Explorer, mostly because I started using it before I got anything else on my computer, and then I already had all my favorites and bookmarks and preferences down, not to mention that I don't experience the problems that so many people claim to have with it. When explorer does occasionally act up, though, I use Firefox. |
Beat Writer Posts: 137 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 | Firefox 3..used IE 7 for a looooooong time, until it got all screwed up for me. I don't really have any add ons. But yeah, the random crashes are somewhat irritating, hell, a few times i've opened firefox just to get the "firefox crashed" message. |

Copy Clerk Posts: 102 Joined: 27 Apr 2008 | I tried Opera a while back due to it supposedly being properly standards compliant, now that's all well and good, but it had a 30 second pause every time I started it after working fine for a few seconds and a lot of websites just didn't display properly. It felt a bit like having a car accident but being smug knowing it was someone else's fault, sure I was technically right but it was still bloody inconvenient. Currently using Firefox as I have done for a long while now, occasionally skip back to IE to use things like Outlook Web Access which aren't fully featured in Firefox. |

Firefox although I'm definitely going to give Chrome a run through over the weekend when I get the time.
