I think they should make a "Batman Beyond" movie and have Adam West play Bruce Wayne.

In my humble opinion the movie "Dark Knight" was it overpriced and over-hyped waste of time.
The story (if there was one) was nonexistent.
The plot (if you can call it that) was hard to follow.
And to say this was Heath Ledgers greatest performance ever... Was an insult every film he made before that!

It is a real shame when movies studios try to "cash in" on it actor's death in order to save an otherwise lackluster film.

What do you think?

Would you like to give more details. Otherwise, you will be marked as a troll.

Ra's Al Goul has been in there for ages. if there was any gripe about him in that film its that he wasnt even close being as major a villain as he was in the comics. he brought a shitstorm of great magnitude to the batman universe when he was about, granted not as large as someone like the joker or riddler but still.

I think you're nothing but a movie troll, and diserve to DIE!!

No no, I'm kidding, could you imagine though?

I personally thought the Dark Knight was one of the best movies I've seen in my life, and Keath LEdgers was amazing. He made me feel that the Joker could be a real mad man, just around the corner.

If you love Heath Ledger that much why don't you bother to get his name right?

Shit, I said Keath Ledger(s)? With a K? Damnit, that was a royal fuck-up on my part, I thought I spelled out Heath Ledger.

Dark Knight is a good film for anyone, definitely better than Iron Man. Iron Man started out great but got obvious and slow at the end.

Dark Knight is in my great films category but not my greatest, compared to stuff like Shawshank Redemption and some others, I don't know what its lacking but its missing something to become an all-times hit.

I reckon DK had a great story, started out in pieces but it all came together in the end. But I agree all movies are too expensive these days, $15 bucks except on Tuesdays when its $10.

Thats just my opinion though!

Sorry but I have to agree. Batman: The Dark Knight was a major disappointment. Iron Man was 100x better.

"Who would you choose as the next Batman villain if it were up to you?"

I would say "the Riddler" because he's a smarter villian. He plays and toys with Batman, forcing him to use his brain and not his fist.

That's exactly what Joker was doing in The Dark Knight! He kills people around Batman, tries to get him to compromise his own values, tries to bring everyone in Gotham to despair so not even Batman can help them, all sorts of things.... That's toying- and Joker certainly forced Batman to do some fancy detective work through the movie, as well (which led to even more manipulation of Batman, in some cases)

The Joker is probably smarter than the Riddler is. The Riddler is just clever. But once u figure out the motifs in his games, it's always been easy for Batman to beat him. The Joker is smarter because he forces Batman to test and push the boundaries of his morality and ethics. The best villains don't try to kill the hero; they try and make the hero become a villain, by actions or public opinion. And the Joker has always made Batman use his head.

The plot was solid and has messages that we can all take into our own lives. The action was great. The acting was top-notch, though i think a posthumous oscar might be stretching it just a little. Everyone played their parts with conviction and truth that is rare for comic movies. I don't see how anyone can't follow the plot or have a large problem with this kind of movie. I saw Iron Man and thought that was comic-movie perfection, until Dark Knight came out. Iron Man is superb and certainly the second best comic movie ever, but Dark Knight just beats it out by it's gritty realism and stronger morals. just slightly beats Iron Man.

I would agree that DK is amazing, but not in the greatest films category. i think that is because no matter how good a comic movie is, it's still a comic movie. i love comic books, but there is always a limitation with them. If u stick to closely to the source material, it won't be dynamic enough and have u at the edge of ur chair. But if u stray too far, fans with hate the film and all involved with it for not being more true to the source material. There are few happy mediums in between, and DK and Iron Man found really good ones. But they will never capture our hearts and minds as much as a really good original story does. Unfortunate, but near undeniably true.

As for prices... JESUS!!! What kind of horrid town do u live in, having to pay 15 for a movie?! My sympathies go out to you, sir. You have just made my 9.50 not seem so bad.

In my opinion, I honestly don't think it was that great of a movie. I mean it was good and I don't regret seeing it but Iron Man was better in my opinion. Why I didn't like The Dark Knight:
1.Way too long.
2.They pulled a Spiderman 3(Having two villains in one movie which not only ruins the chance for another movie but probably added to the movie being so long. Although the Dent scenario was cleared up in like 20 mins.)
Heath Ledger did a good job as the Joker but personally I'm not a big Heath Ledger fan. Oh and thank God they killed of Maggie G.'s character because I'm sorry but she doesn't deserve to be in movies. That face .......I mean it was a complete downgrade to go from hot(Katie Holmes) to fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down (Maggie G.)
And to me it's kind of funny that the villain who lived died so there is no real way to have him in the next (if there will be one) Batman movie.

that character is "too new", it's best for DC to stick with the more well-known villians

I totally agree with you on Maggie G. .......*shiver*
And I tend to see Harvey Dent's short Villaindom as more of a side-effect of the Joker's antics. Yes, Dent turned evil at the end and rather crazy, but it was still all Joker's manipulation and cruelty that drove him to it

I think you're not a very bright kid. Not because you have your own opinions, but because of how you explain your opinions (or lack there of).

"The story (if there was one) was nonexistent."

What?

It sounds to me like you just dislike the movie simply because other people like it. It's a very crude attempt to stand out of the crowed, and be an "individual." Well fine I acknowledge that you are deferent then every one else, and are a completely original individual...and an idiot. The movie was obviously well made; it was hugely successful both critically and financially.

It has a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes with 254 reviews. Just for kicks; Iron Man has a 93% with 215 reviews. They both did almost equally well as you can see.

Wow, that sucks for you guys. New Hampshire may be boring as piss, but one good thing about it is movies only cost $5.00 to $7.50.

technnicaly, Spiderman 3 pulled a Batman. Even in the old Batman films, we had 2 villains.
For the Katie Holmes/ Maggie G argument. Miss Holmes skipped the Dark Knight, because she was filming another film. (Her loss).

Yes it was the Spiderman 3 villain triangle but DK succeeded where SM3 failed. Actual character development, Batman Begins built up Batman, Gordon, and Scarecrow so well that when you see them in TDK; you're so familiar with them. Yes I loved them killing Rachel, it was one of the cock slaps that I enjoyed. Now enter Harvey Dent (if you didn't know who he was prior you're a pillock) and Joker. Fanboys of the comics got pissed at how Joker wasn't the guy who killed Wayne's parents; another great cock slap and cup of piss on your nostalgic dreams.

I honestly see TDK as a great crime-drama with Batman in it. The greatest cock slap of all (okay this is getting homo-erotic) would be for the Producers to say there will be no 3rd movie! That may actually cause me to get off.........(take that in whatever context you choose)
