He's taking about RAK The Undead, a quite well-known and respected user here that is sometimes over-run by his Autonomous AI. |

The Intelligence does essentially conform to the strict definition of a robot, but because of its partially biomechanical construction, and the fact that for optimal processing capacity, it must be connected to the Avatar, the Intelligence may not apply to the definition of a robot that you were considering. <DIRECTIVE COMPLETE> ] |

Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 983 Joined: 9 Jul 2008 | Robots scare me. But not for their advanced, immoral logic that could threaten humanity as with most people, but rather for their advanced, immoral strength that could also threaten humanity... So yeah, robots can threaten humanity. Though if I had to choose I would say Bender is the best robot 'cause he's funny and doesn't threaten me...mostly. |

This thread is about robots not cyborgs, so the Terminator doesn't count. Even just the exoskeleton with no organic flesh is more of an android than a robot. Same with HK-47 or most Star Wars "droids", they're androids not robots. The robots which make microchips are pretty great, as are those robots which blow up unexploded bombs. Fictionally, I'd go for Unicron, you can't get much greater than a robotic planet. |

I though they where robots that have flesh and look like humans, but apparently the star wars robots are androids so...*shrug* Dam you George Lucas!! Comfusing us on the serious topic of robots and androids! |
