Fraught: 5000 posts without incurring a single corpuscule of an angry video games' forum's moderator's wrath.
Simple, really.
Wow, the Neo Badge is indeed, EPIC.
Yup. You must literally go through 400 hookers, 1000 threads with every single one of them over 200 replies, and you must somehow earn enough money from using TheEscapist to get from UK to Japan.
When I first came here, I thought the Off-topic section was the social boards. Turns out it was the RP section. I don't hang around much there. Maybe doing some lurking but not really replying.
I think there should be a special badge for members who achieve all other "normal" badges before it.
Archon: Not to worry, we'll be adding additional forum names past Gonzo (and new badges) soon!
1, Sweet. 2, is anyone else getting a chuckle that the Escapist's CEO uses the Eye of Sauron as an Avatar? 3, Can I suggest a badge for "X Year" membership? IE, after year from your join date, you get a 1-year anniversary badge, 2 years, 3 years, etc? Disregard if it already exists.

For numero tres, they do exist. That's what the beer mug badges are.
Syntax Error: I don't know, but I for one would love to get that Beer mug and Neo Badges. The Neo badge, I don't know how to obtain. As for the beer mug, see me after 10 months.

Just be really, really nice to everybody, never spam, don't necro, use proper spelling and grammar, for 5000 posts over the course of two months, and that's it! Oh, and if you get banned or probed you have to start all over again.
It's not worth it. I'll admit it, I'm ashamed, but I did it. I went to Warcry. I went to Warcry just to have an awesome pirate badge. It is a scary place. People have pictures under everything they say, it's very confusing. Everyone has post counts in the thousands. I felt the shame of what I had done The shame of my quick break from our beloved escapist So I hid it. I hid my putrid pirate badge where only the truly inquisitive would find it But it taunts me It taunts me with it's presence. Every day I see that pirate, and it says You cheated

The Iron Ninja: Iron Ninja described his personal hell here.
I went there once, but I could not stay, I'd rather live in Ravenholm than go back, there was a member with nearly 9000 posts, the meme was calling him.
On a side note I've actually turned off badges in forum options. They're pretty pointless really. I'd rather someone judge me by the quality (or lack therof) of my posts, and not base it upon whether I've had a certain number of people add me as a friend.

Well, some people like badges, and some people don't. I just wish the Gleemax forums had a system like the Escapist's. (in terms of giving members badges)

Ravenholm's not so bad when you've got Father Grigori by your side. That, and the Gravity Gun. :P

My mind is blown! The Escapist Staff auto-posting account is an escapist contributor!
But seriously, I didn't know there were that many "Forum Inferno"s handed out. Got any statistics on which is the less attained badge? Besides the staff-only ones.
Forum Vagebond badge graphic is awesome, and for that reason alone i had to have it. Warcry forums don't have that community feel sadly (imo at least), seems so empty.

Don't do it. Spare yourself the shame.
And yet, it says "I'm awesome"
I've been trying to do that, but I can never find a topic that I can post on without me spewing my ignorance of MMOs. I don't play them you see.

Only then, the bravest of them all will get it.
