ok if your one of the million of people who watch tv all day on their weekend like me you may have seen the trailer for hancock and i must say for the start of July it dose it......... pretty well the story is awsome cause as i grow older i seem to hate the theory of a nice good guy i want hell boy and batman but hancock i like also.

ok the reason hancock thinks he got his power is becuse of a freak accident involving a hospital but not really. which made me happy, if he went to the hospital and came out a super hero why arn't old people flying instead of driving cars. now in this movie their is no super villian just a villian no super powers involved which set me as a bad thing i mean you get the ruff of super heros and now nice bad guy hhhhhmmmm.

another thing about this movie is that the jokes are funny and go with the story which makes you laugh while still enjoying the movie. their is also a secert ending around the end of the credits which you have to wait and see which made me laugh cause half the people had already left also the call hancock, handjob which i liked as a joke about the name of the guy but also brings a gay feeling if i think about not that it is.

but this movie is like a gold stone to july until hell boy or bat man beats it with clubs as we wait for the dvd to come out. now the real down side about the movie the action. yes the action they spilt it when your watching hancock beat a super house wife your also watching her husband sell the all heart which they paint the moon at the end. he also has this weird deal about being called an asshole for destorying everything!!!!

my review of hancock: go see it, it keeps you happy till around the end when you cry or till you realize that you might have just wasted around 6 bucks.

don't correct me on my spelling please also.

I won't. Use CAPITALS for crying out loud. There is one in the whole review and that is for "July".

I'll ignore your spelling because you asked so nicely, but your grammar and the way you write was rather poor. Please, don't take that as bad as it reads, it's just that there aren't many ways to say that your writing style is...different from what I'm used to through text.

Your review could use some more details in my opinion, and could be improved by using Word or something to write it out then copying it here. Also, did you like the movie as most of the review suggests, or think it a waste of money as your one line "review" states? Please, keep it clear next time.

PROPER NOUNS ARE CAPITALISED! SAME WITH THE BEGINNING OF A SENTENCE!
It does you no good to ask us not to correct you if you make little to no effort. Your grammar and sentence structure are atrocious.

Constructive criticism is welcome, but don't drown the guy in vitriol before he's started.

Usually because having a set syntax helps people understand what you mean, and it allows you to communicate your ideas with greater accuracy.

Your astounding wit is halved when you fail to use the most basic of style.

Being immune to syntax and grammar errors, I got through that ok. A mediocre review, I'd say.

I was concerned clicking on this, because I didn't want to know much about the movie. Luckily, of the little bit of the review I managed to read, it didn't tell me anything to ruin the film. So... thanks?

I saw the movie and it was a nice break from all the Marvel and DC movies about superheroes and it was original which is something you don't see anymore.

Well the only thing in this review that needs some work is the grammar. (I'm not really the best myself)

What I did like was the fact that you mentionned "It's not the same as the other super hero movies".

Hancock is to super hero movies as Paragons is to Mutants & Masterminds.

I went and saw this last night, everything was good but the end. Not the end end, but like, the last half hour.

Dc.

you did this on purpose right?
Your review was short and hard to follow, you didn't say much about the movie, mostly how it was funny. It was really hard to follow...really it was...half the things you say don't make sense I just couldn't understand what you were saying.

the review sort of reads like a smart 12 year old kid who excitedly talks without pause about something cool that happened at school. you know, the kid that refers to people in their full first and last names.

i can't recall what i just read from it

This is actually a better review than the OP one, in my opinion.

Hmmm. Fairly good ideas presented, I guess, but it's hard to ignore the lack of structure. If you're going to post regularly on this site, please at least write well. A lot of people won't even try to understand poorly written posts.

I liked that movie, but they didnt go into the reson why he was a super hero enough. like who was he, what did he do, Why did the other gather and die? that kind of thing

I quite enjoyed this movie despite the action/drama identity crisis it has somewhere after the middle. It makes a good attempt at being a super hero movie that actually has some sort of, dare I say it... story, without being a whiny angst fest (I'm looking at you Spiderman[1]) or downright confused (Hi Transformers!).

I felt there were three flaws to the movie which let it down however:
1) The slow start was, well, slow. It wasn't very exciting and the laughs were a bit limp. It livens up after 10 minutes or so though, so bear with it.
2) The transition from action to drama left me feeling a bit confused, and could have been handled better.
3) The bad guy they introduce toward the end was just plain awkward. I feel it was a casting as well as writing problem.

Overall though I feel Hancock was well worth the ticket price, which is saying something these days. Most of the humour, although not particularly subtle, was funny and well carried out. The action, once it got going was pretty much spot on, and the drama didn't limp along like it could have done.

I feel like there should be another paragraph here extolling the movie's virtues, since the numbered list of things I didn't like kind of overpowers the positives following it. Pretend I said something good about Hancock here and chuck another paragraph in the + column.

I give this movie [arbitrary number] out of [arbitrary number].

Your grammar sucked so bad it hurt my eyes and I had to stop reading it.
Also it was very hard to follow.
