Voting on this one has been closed because the round is over. When the next round starts there will be a radio button next to each name and a button for vote.

Mods.
NWN is one of the most moddable games out there.
Bioware makes it easy to improve games.

I don't see a GOTY for Turbine anywhere. I see quite a few for Bioware.
Quality AND Quantity.

no GOTY?

Might want to open those eyes

Should I try to educate you more?

Don't mind this guy. He enjoys embarrassing himself on a daily basis. Even on the LOTRO forums.

Bullshit...instead of a fair competition, we're gonna have a DDoS showdown with Turbine and HMX fans trying to crash the site.

Well, I'm a bit bummed about BioWare losing, but at least I'm not chicken. (Found via Kotaku.)

(Do I need a smiley here?)

Might want to check the date.....

But that is proof of the difference of Bioware and Turbine right there.. They put more work into a "joke" than what Bioware as done for their games.

SWING and a miss... (Hint, you might want to check the URL for the Kotaku story.) Guess I should've put the smiley in after all.

And you might want to dump the fennish hyperbole if you don't want to grate on nerves. Sheesh. (Besides, y'haven'a thing on Pimps at Sea, ye scurvy halflings. Arr.)

I guess reading comprehension and critical thinking isn't your strong suit. (hint read what I said second line.)

I'm actually disappointed with this one, Bioware has given me some of the best hours of entertainment on my XBox. As soon as I work my way around to it, I bet the same will happen with Mass Effect. Ah well, many people will claim the same about Epic losing to HMX.

Hmmmmm this is interesting. I signed on to vote but it seems that I have already voted. Trouble is, I hadn't signed on since last Thursday. :(

EDIT: As Rosanna Rosannadanna said...."nevermind". Didn't realize it was closed. :)

Turbine deserve all the votes they want for that April Fools'. 'Amon Hen', 'stage a coop'!? Hilarity!

Don't really know...just honestly wanted to know the REAL results.I expected people to cheat but that fanatical devotion is making me sick.

Turbine appeals to the masses because it's dumbed down mega easy. Nothing wrong with that, but I prefer a 'real' gaming company vs a baby sitter.

Bioware ftw!

Well I haven't even PLAYED a Turbine game. Ever.

Bioware on the other hand... yeah. I just bought Mass Effect yesterday too. I would have voted for them, but looks like it wouldn't have mattered. Oh well.

Now we must vote for Bethesda! Everyone who voted for Bioware, onward to Bethesda! This way we can prevent Turbine from getting into the finals thus giving the victory to Valve (who I would expect to win quite frankly, with Team Fortress, Half Life, and Portal on its side among other games)!

Oh and the Big 3 weren't in this tournament right? Because if they were they should be in the Great 8. Hell they should be in the finals. I wonder how many votes Nintendo would garner from this.

I have no idea who you consider to be the big 3... You might want to look at the bracket...

The fact that Turbine has gotten this far just shows that a quality developer won't always beat out a mediocre developer if they can't beat off the hordes of the mediocre developers fanboys.

I'll be voting against Turbine through the rest of this tournament regardless of who they face simply to offset their idiotic fanbase.

Well, Fireaxis beat out Blizzard so maybe this whole polling thing is actually working as intended despite your personal feelings.

Great RPGs...
Great MMOs...
Great RTS's...
WHY IN BLAZES ISN'T BLIZZARD HERE?!

Seriously, how did they not make it?!

They were...and lost to a better developer :)

Big 3 as in the only three companies that have their own systems. That should tell you enough, but if not it was Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft.

But I already looked around and saw that Nintendo was indeed in it but somehow lost to petty Epic.

Might want to look around some more.. Sony was in it (both studios) and Microsoft was as well (they don't really make games for the most part but their studios were listed) Maybe you just need to comprehend a little more?

No no no. I only cared to see where Nintendo was. That was all. No smart comments please.
