James seeing this takes the hit the pain is incrdible, but yet he smiled

"your close range now, my friend" blood coming from his mouth

and with that he had lowered himself and used all the power in his arm and in his mechanical legs to give an uppercut that he had hoped would hit the jaw of Ashcroft.

"Im not partial to a fight at the moment i was just keeping my weapon handy in case you needed to be taught a lesson"

The elf laughed while twenty orbs of pure fire formed.

"Do you honestly think you could defeat me?" the elf said looking into the man's eyes.

"I know, I'm giving you a hard time and I expect the same." The merriment left Sozia's voice as she observed Crow's manner with the elf.

"yes i do my friend" Crow said with a smile

OOC: i have to go you can wrap this up anyway you feel like

"Well than prove it" the elf said while leaping backwards and landing on his feet twenty feet away, the orbs following him.

"I honestly dont feel up to it right now and besides i have no reason to unless you violate the rules"

*Ashcroft, who was in the middle of jumping away is suddenly surprised by the gauntleted fist rocketing into his unprotected jaw. Thrown through the air, he lands in a rolling heap. After a moment he steps unsteadily to his feet. Looking to his side he spits out a nasty gob of blood, and then turning back he slowly levels his blade towards his opponent. Unable to focus his eyes properly he shuts them and awaits James' next move.*

Sozia went and stood behind Crow's left shoulder. She didn't doubt he could take care of himself, but he wasn't at 100%, and if she'd put him at a disadvantage, she wanted to back him up now.

"Does anyone want to fight me?" the elf yelled clearly disappointed at not fighting the man in front of him.

Crow looks at Sozia
"Thank you i apreciate it but if this fight does happen then please dont interfere"
"My friend im giving you one warning if you purposfly violate the rules i will be forced to attack without restraint"

The elf than started balancing the swords on each and everyone of his fingers.

Sozia stepped back with a friendly and respectful wave. "All respect, my friend. My only interest is keeping the peace, just like you. Besides, I'm human through and through. I have no business with anything magical."

"We are in a mostly flat feild with a few trees"

The elf still continued balancing the swords but the orbs numbers starting dwindling down to only two.

*Opening his eyes, Ashcroft notices that his opponent is suddenly nowhere to be found. Looking over toward the trio he senses that a fight may break out, and even though his is still slightly dizzy he wishes to assist if things get out of hand.*

The elf looked at the group and said "Will any of you give me a challenge?"

"I dont think this elf will violate the rules"
Crow turns around and limps away to the shade of a nearby tree

"A magic user, huh? I'll give you a shot if you're interested. I warn you though, I've got a trick or two of my own." *Ashcroft calls out to the pointy eared man, his icy-blue, inhuman eyes narrowing in anticipation.

"Sorry, buddy," says Sozia too the elf, "I'm not the droid you are looking for."

She waves to Crow. "See ya around. Say hi to Yin for me."

"Well this should be interesting, you go first" the elf said the orbs numbers growing back to twenty.

Crow waves back
"ok ill be sure to see ya"

*Ripping off the binding seal on the hilt of his sword, Ashcroft then begins running toward the orb-toting elf.*

The elf smiled running at the man having the orbs go ahead of him.

"Remember no killing"Crow calls to the two combatants

*Seeing his opponent and the swarm of orbs heading towards him he also smiles and holds his blade aloft in front of him, the demon within it snarling in anticipation of the onrushing feast.*

The elf's canines start growing sharper and longer bulges appearing in the elf's back.

The bulges then burst the armor conforming around the wings that have just appeared.

The elf's eyes then start looking more like dragon eyes.

Crow watches the battle with mild interest

"Well this could get interesting"
*Seeing his opponent beginning to revert to the form in which he arrived the hybrid swordsman allows more of the demon's trapped essence to pour into himself.*
"I'll warn you now, dragon-boy. Jallil and Mobius will be mighty pissed if either of us ends up dead at the end of this, so try to hold back a little, will ya?"

"Yea they'll be pissed and probably take it out on me for allowing a death to happen"

"Well human I can't guarantee that" the hybrid said his feet changing into talons.

"But i can guarantee that if a death does happen then i shall take the life of whoever killed the other"

"Well then Jallil, and Mobius will be even more pissed at you."
