Oh, and a lynching RP is (To my knowledge) an RP where every once in a while, someone (or more) gets offed by the killer(s) and then the survivors (and the killer[s]) vote on who to jail/lynch, and it keeps going till the killer(s) is/are killed or jailed, or till there are no non-killer players left alive/out of prison.

I want to be the guy who makes lunch for all the other assassins! Just kidding... I don't care what role you give me as long as it isn't too degrading. I have had a bit of real life experience with acting and I sometimes like to play a character that I didn't think up. Personally, I think it is sometimes it is enjoyable having to approach situations a diffrent way. I can make a character myself if you want me to though.

BTW, do we need to type up proper profiles for this?

Backstory:
The CTA (counter terrorism agency) was formed in 2002, in response to 9/11. Shrouded in secrecy, the agencies' main goal was in the elimination of terrorists and threats to world peace. To "deal with" meant assassinations and kidnappings. The governments of the free world did not want to be known to be doing this, so they needed a trustworthy leader for the CTA. They chose ex-CIA agent James Carty to be one of the founding fathers.
The CTA headquarters is based out of Langley, Virginia in an underground base. it has less than 200 operatives including analysts and field agents, 13 of whom have been chosen specially by Carty for a man named Dimitri Petrovic...

Alright guys, now is the time to post your agents profiles, tomorrow I (character James Carty aka "Chief") will give you the mission briefing, objectives, and whatnot. This is my first time as GM so please tell me how I am doing. The game may start slowly but Will defiantly heat up to be a good spy/assassin yarn. By the way, your profiles will need to include the following:

CHARACTER NAME: your character's name

MISSION GEAR: what you bring on missions-clothing, weapons, etc.

AGENCY GEAR: what you wear around the agency-clothing, sidearm, etc.

SKILLS: what your character excels in- sniping, hand to hand, etc.

WEAKNESSES: what your character is not good at.

PERSONALITY: how your character acts.

CHARACTER NAME: Brian Stephens

MISSION GEAR: Black cloth suit (basically, the Tom Cruise stealth suit) grappling hook/rappel cord, silenced .22 pistol, garrote, silenced SMG

AGENCY GEAR: White silk suit, black shoes, .32 pistol

SKILLS: stealth, silent kills, scaling infiltrations, marksmanship

WEAKNESSES: direct confrontations, crawling through vents

PERSONALITY: My character is amiable enough, speaking with a soft Southern accent, but is not trusting of anyone outside of the agency unless they are considered to be allies by the agency on the mission. He is claustrophobic, which is why he cannot go through vents very easily. He will not hesitate to kill if forced to do so, but he is not trigger happy or garotte happy.

CHARACTER NAME: Rose McLain

MISSION GEAR: Daggers. One Beretta nine Mill customed with silencer and added ammo capasity. Clip holds 15 rounds with 16 when one is in the chamber. Has turned it into a Semi Auto weapon. Extended Stock. Has two spar clips of ammo. Wears much the same on the field as in the agency. Difference is that she wears a bullet proof vest that is hidden by her jacket.

AGENCY GEAR: Usually wears a leather jacket, [much like claire from RE does] with black pants, a dagger strapped to her left leg, and her weapon strapped to the side of her chest for easy access and concealment.

SKILLS: Rose Excells in hand to hand combat as well as close combat with blades. Is fair with her 9 mill.

WEAKNESSES: She lacks patience needed for taking out someone extremly skilled with advanced weapons. Ex: Snipers, and people with rifles and shot guns.

PERSONALITY: Normally keeps to herself. Will not speak unless it is required. Keeps herself distant unless it is to close with a target. WILL and has used this skill to infultrate bases and taken out the commander without the subordinates knowing she was the spy. She and Ian, usually, can be found trying to find a common ground before a mission. Rose is never against killing her suspects first, but Ian can normally remind her that a live terrorist brings in more of a reward then a corpse that will answer nothing. Since she is unable to keep herself out of a snipers scope, she relies heavily on Ian's skills to keep her alive. When she is posted to keep watch on him, she doesn't care who shows up. Approach Ian while she is guarding his sniping position, and the last thing you'll see is the blood that pools around your face as you fall to the ground face first.

CHARACTER NAME: Merlin "Poe" Grimm.

MISSION GEAR: Wears an outfit identical to Altair's (but it's black and red, not white and red), with full body Kevlar underneath. Carries a Desert Eagle with a silencer, an M400 Sniper rifle, a modified AK-47, fire grenades, C-4, and a hidden wrist blade akin to Altair's.

AGENCY GEAR: A black t-shirt, dark blue jeans, and a Berreta 93R.

SKILLS: Good in most things, but is best at talking his way through things, but he can still kill you in twelve ways with his shoe.

WEAKNESSES: Always a bit too eager to show off and recklessly act, and has a tendancy to use airstrikes for jobs that only require small arms, and thinks nothing of collateral damage.

PERSONALITY: He is usually a smartass, is pretty perverted, and all this is capable of changing on a dime thanks to his split personalities.

CHARACTER NAME: Ian McLain
(Sniper and Trained Hostage Negotiator)

MISSION GEAR: PSG-1 .50 Caliber sniper rifle with Armor Piercing rounds. Two .45 Caliber Pistols with extended 18 round clips (Both are Baretta 1911s). Carries an M-4 Carbine for infiltrations with a suppressor and scope as well as two Frag Grenades and two Flash-Bang grenades.

AGENCY GEAR: Black Bulletproof vest and hip holsters for pistols. Three extra clips for each.

SKILLS: An excellent Shot with any weapon, his skill is sufficient to cluster a 6 shot grouping within the size of a quarter at a half mile. (Secret Service training...)

WEAKNESSES: Has almost no hand to hand skill, despite training. Given the chance he will pull his gun and shoot rather than go hand to hand with a suspect. He isn't afraid to go for a disabling shot even if it puts him at more risk for a counter attack... Consequently he has taken more suspects alive with non-fatal wounds than any other officer. (And been shot more times than any other officer.)

PERSONALITY: Extremely outgoing, he and Rose are nearly polar opposites. Their love is a fiery passion that borders on going Nova at any time. Countless missions have ended with all suspects dead because they were in the middle of an argument when the mission kicked off. Woe to the terrorist who interrupts a lovemaking session or a fight between these two. He is something of a loose cannon, but never fails, and always comes through in the clutch.

CHARACTER NAME: Alexander Corinth

MISSION GEAR: a Glock 18C machine pistol with silencer (20 round clip, 1100-1200 rounds per minute), an O'Dwyer VLe (a Metal Storm handgun currently in prototype stage, very light due to caseless ammunition, fires three rounds before recoil, could fail in the face of an EMP), a string of six small fragmentation grenades, and a T.A.R. 21 (Isreali-built assault rifle, very short, accepts standard STANAG NATO magazines and can have an attached grenade launcher. Wears bulletproof clothing: vest, sleeves, hat, and pants.

AGENCY GEAR: Dresses casually in comfortable cloths with lots of pockets. Carries the O'Dwyr VLe in an easily accessable pocket, lots of odds and ends in the rest of them.

SKILLS: Alexander is excellent at close-quarters gunplay, urban combat and infiltration of the kind of cramped bunker complexes favored by your modern terrorist.

WEAKNESSES: doesn't carry anything for longer-ranged combat, isn't the most cautions person in the world, and will occasionally wreak more havoc than is needed.

PERSONALITY: Oddly laid back, with an easy smile and mellow voice. Talks rather slowly, drawing out words like he relishes saying them. The only time he acts anything but easygoing is when he's on a mission and he needs to communicate something urgently to any other agents involved. However, since his definition of urgent is somewhat different than the rest of the world's, hearing him shouting is rare indeed.

CHARACTER NAME: Unknown (Assumed to be Alan Shurik)

Alias: Flying Tiger

MISSION GEAR: Waver .25 Semi-Auto Pistol (in holster on side of torso), 1 five round magazine, Kevlar/Carbon weave hardened armor (light kevlar around the entire body with hard carbon fiber/ceramic plates to protect vital organs and high contact areas), 2 titanium daggers(1 on right hip & other on left shoulder), Kevlar balaclava. Occasionally takes spiked chain, 6 foot staff, 3 section staff, or double hooked swords on missions depending on projected casualties and environment.

AGENCY GEAR: Wears baggy, non-restrictive cloths(sweatpants & a t-shirt) Does not take any weapons with him around agency.

SKILLS: Master of martial arts. Extremely skilled in many martial weapons and is even better unarmed. Highly skilled in pressure points and joint-locking techniques. Keeps body in shape with high amounts of endurance training (distance running, free running, acrobatics) and practices his martial arts every day if possible. Acrobatic and flexible, he focuses on circumventing challenges with his dexterity. Trained in first aid & uses it in tandem with ancient theories of medicine.

WEAKNESSES: Tightly bound by moral code. Hates to kill or torture. Has impeded a few missions by refusing to let suspects be "interrogated" Inaccurate with a gun, only carries one for the rare (in his eyes) instances for when it is necesary, as his conservitive 5 round clip shows. While he has extraordinary endurance he has low high-power strength. This is not to say he cannot lift a pillow but he just does badly at high power activities (power lifting, strength conflicts, etc.) Often voices his opinion and strongly prefers to lead. Has occasional self-conflicts because of past.

PERSONALITY: Prefers a structured order in a mission and a pre-set plan and also likes to bypass difficult obsticles with finesse. Often tries to save lives if possible and will do everything in his power not to harm innocents. Believes in the old-world type of fighting (one on one duels, basically hand to hand combat) and dislikes sniping and killing from distance. Has a problem with trying to stop mission and others if it goes against his beliefs. This is rooted in the fact that he accidently killed one of his enemies in a duel when he was younger and has gone into hiding since. Now works for CTA hopefully to save lives and make the world a better place. Half chinese, half canadian from parents and last name shows such. Other players do not know his past due to the fact he went into hiding after the accidental murder.

Just realized that from 4th of July to a handful of days after I wont be on (going on a trip) I will still participate in story when I can but if you want to take me out temporarily or have me do something long and tedious in a mission until I get back I am fine with it.

Leo Gun

Alias: Mr. Mask

Mission Gear: Silence Pistol, numerous disguises, has hidden blade replacing ring finger (sry had to go Altair there, lol)And other weapons depending on disguise, always wears black shades.

Agency Gear: Black dress pants a tuxedo shirt and overcoat with no tie and carries a large black backpack (with main and essiental clothing and makeup disguise tools (to change tan skin color to who ever's attacking, not because i'm gay :)) )

Skills: Able to impersonate anyone almost perfectly can change voice amazingly, has charm (hurk hurk) master in Judo (know what your messin with) extremly stealthy, a master hacker (like yours truly)

Weaknesses: Has a dark a terrible past, mood changes alot, has split personalities when he gets too involved in his disguise.

Personality: Main personality: A quiet man, can take orders well, and can take charge if needed. But with adrenaline rush he become a trigger-finger mad man on very rare occasions he can get so into his character he can think he IS that character. (I'll try to let that not get in the way with the story)

If i'm not on (my schedule is very unprodictable (sp?)) feel free to take my roll (make sure I don't die though!)

Btw if your a gamer dude like me, you can probably name a couple of skills and abilities, etc that have been taken from other games (Killer 6, G.O.F, Assassins Creed, etc.)
