Paperboy  Posts: 17 Joined: 9 Jan 2008  | Name: Cameron Lex Specialty: Assault (Point) Equipment: UMP45 (.45ACP rounds, reflex sight), Silenced MP7A1 (4.6x30mm, reflex sight), 2 Stun Grenades (flashbangs), 2 Sting Grenades. Grenade loadout may change based on mission. Carries plenty of extra ammunition for both weapons. His MP7A1 is small enough to be considered a "sidearm", but it is his primary weapon due to the silencer. His UMP45 is for when things get ugly and he needs some killing power, though the MP7A1 functions adequately in that role as well. Training: American Infantry Light Fighters, Navy SEALs Backstory: Joining the army originally to get into college, he found he instead liked it and decided to continue as a career military man. After his initial training, he transferred to the Light Fighters (non-vehicular division). His officers, recognizing his skills in both jungle warfare and stealth, recommended him to the SEALs, which he joined after a couple of years. During his service with the SEALs, he was assigned to help many out-of-country anti-terrorist units, including the French GIGN, where he learned to speak a smattering of French. Personality type and quirks: Due to previous experience, he prefers to solve problems peacefully (since anything can go wrong when you have to go in). Failing that, he prefers stealth over an all-out assault, though he is well prepared for it with his UMP45. He believes that a successful mission depends on not only the objective, but how the objective was achieved. He considers a stealth mission that ended in a firefight a failure, but he will consider an assault mission achieved by stealth a resounding success. He prefers solving problems through reasoning rather on instinct, though he is a fast thinker and many mistake him for doing the opposite. He does not believe in fate, is not religious, and does not believe in luck; anything that luck may affect can be countered by careful planning and superior execution. He has a girlfriend, but keeps his personal life out of his professional life. He is a quiet man, but will speak up whenever he feels something is wrong. He can get himself into trouble by arguing with a CO if he believes they are making a wrong decision, though he usually shuts up and does it anyways if the CO is not to be swayed from his decision. |
