"I know. Qid...he's right. We cannot just take back the geth and enslave them again. And we will recover...but not at the cost of others."

"Thats where you are wrong Sera, and that is why I can't go back with you guys. The world needs somebody who thinks like me." With that he pulls out a concealed pistol and holds it to Sera's head. He slowly backs out of the room watching all of the team members carefully.

"Qid, think about this! If you kill me, you'll never make it back on the flotilla alive!"

"Not all of the Quarians think like you Sera. That is why you are lost to me. You don't care about bettering our people's future you care about the live's of all the other species out there. What have they given us Sera? Nothing. They didn't help against the Geth and now they leave us to live in some flotilla." He turns down a short side corridor and pushes Sera towards the team members. He aims his pistol at her but hesitates and doesn't take the shot. "Damn it!" He curses to himself and runs down the hallway and takes a right turn.

Balen runs after Qid but is knocked into an opposite wall by a geth destroyer his shields gone and blood coming from his helmet.

Taking off after Sera the Commander contacts the 'Dependable'. "If Qid goes to leave on a ship get a lock on him and report to me for further oders."
"Yes, Sir"
He jogs around the corner and sees Qid heading for the hanger. Trying to run faster he pulls up his Assault Rifle to take a shot but Sera is in the way. Qid makes it in to the Hanger and shuts the door, sealing it, behind him. Sera bangs on the door in frustration. Yelling something to Qid.

Balen walks to the commander clutching his ribs and says "I am in need of a medic" before he passes out.

"Qid, open the door! If you do what you're planning to do, you're going to make a mockery out of Tali!"

Ignoring Sera's comment because he is blind to any reasoning she has to offer anymore Qid gets in a ship and leaves the hanger.

Running up to Sera the Commander is contacted by the 'Dependable'.
"Sir we have a lock on his ship do we fire? We only have a small opening till he joins up with some geth ships." The Commander turns to Sera.
"Its your call but think about the consequences of leaving him alive."

"I know. Open fire."

With a sigh the Commander puts his hand on Sera's shoulder, "I wish he had listened to you and this didn't have to happen." Clicking on his Mic he says after a slight pause. "Take the shot 'Dependable' and come meet us at the rendevous."
"Affirmative, Sir." and after a minute "Target down, Sir on our way."
The Commander brings Sera back to the group where Birras is busy treating Balen. "Get him up. We'll look after him when we get to the ship."

Sera reveals no emotion, and refuses to speak.

The Commander guides his shaken team to the ship where they all get on and recieve medical attention. The Commander leaves the medical bay in search of his team. He finds them in the mess hall. Balen, Birras and KidLuca sit around eating and talking. Sera sits there playing in her food and not speaking. Worried about her the Commander walks over.
"Team you all performed great down there, especially you Sera. When we get back to the citadel and I report back to the council I will be requesting you all to be admited into the Spectres. Enjoy your food we will be back at the Citadel in 3 hours." With that the Commander goes to his quarters preparing his report for the Council so he can get some shut eye.
