Leon reads the paper

"I'm not talking about bait, mabye... I don't know, give me a minute to think, and I would love some imput from you two"

"If he was based in that chapel, I doubt he'd stay around for very long. He probably has another place to go. We just need to find out where."

"You've got a good point... mabye we could ask around about some unusual activity, that could lead us to another base, a cult member, and ultimately... to Ark, sound good to you guys?"

Iris nods.

Vergil smiles and nods.
"As good an idea as any."

Ark slowly rides through,he briefly looks at the people near the burnt chapel,Damn,he could confirm two were bounty hunters,for they had been there a while back.And another,He Had a look to him, but then again, most people didn't look the same,He narrows his eyes and continues to ride.
"Stop!"

Three guards rush up to him.
"Hello officers,What may I help you with?"
"Sir Your under arrest for possible Arson,and involuntary manslaughter of those killed in the blaze."
"Sirs, what proof do you have?"
"Well you were seen riding twice through the water front,just before and just after the Inferno."
"Well I'm a mailman,"
"Nice try,Its white horse times not White horse news,"
"Keep your selfs updated,eh? They changed there names two days ago."
"We lied,there is no White horse times or news."
"Yes...I..erm...excuse me."
"What?"
"I have a boat to catch."
Ark Draws his flintlock and fires randomly. Fizzzzz...Click BANG! The bullet grazes an officers shoulder bringing him down,The other two back away clearly unnerved,The Attempt to Aid there companion as Ark rides off.Not caring who was in his way.

Iris sees the entire incident and tries to figure out how to catch up to him. She finally decides to give chase and just try to keep him in her sights.

Shoimi watches the fire burn from the top of the three horse Inn.

so i got here to late he's already moved on.

Shoimi looks at the base of the Chapel and sees the bounty hunters.

so they are the ones who i will have to watch for. Interesting.

Shoimi turned his red sleeveless shirt whipping around in the wind. and disappears into the shadows.

Leon stepps in front of Iris

"What are you doing?! why are you running away?"

She gestures at the man on horseback, then pantomimes shooting someone. She then pushes past Leon and continues giving chase.

Leon catches wind of why she was running, Leon cuts through an ally in an attempt to flank the man

shoimi watches this from the shadows noting the woman's scar.

hmm. mute and chasing someone on horse back might be a good idea to follow this woman.

Ark continues fleeing,rushing his horse forward,The ship was in sight.
He'res my grand exit Ark dismounts the horse and Grabs a rope which pulls him onto the ship,Guards surrond the vessel.five men pop up with loaded muskets Raining lead down on the guards,The ship pulls out of dock and turns broad side. 15 Cannons Begin to fire from broadside,destroying the docks and sinking smaller ships. After The sanction of doubt is out on open sea about 17 men lay dead or dying,and 20 wounder.

Ark heads towards his quarters,and lies down,his head swirls with thoughts,the escape,where he was going and hoping not many civilians will be killed.

Leon comes to a stop as the ship sails away

"Holy Hell, what was that?!"

Iris slams a fist against a nearby wall, making her knuckles bleed as she glares after the departing ship.

Leon runs up to Iris

"That settles it, we're going to bring in that bastard piece by piece"

Iris raises an eyebrow and scribbles on her pad of paper. "And how do you propose we catch up to him?"

"as I recall, we allready had a plan in motion, let's go find our new friend and start asking about unusual activity, remember?"

"Oh yes, and then find out where in the hell that guy went off to."

"You know it, that guy has a lot to answer for... but there's something else that bothers me..."

She arches an eyebrow.

"Do you have the feeling that we're being watched?"

She shrugs and writes. "Not the first time I've been followed."

Leon relaxes and leans against a nearby wall

"yeah, same here, but this feels different"

shoimi watches the destruction of the harbor with interest. while listening to the girl talk to the other.

wow they catch on quick i wonder where Ark is going.

Shoimi turns and heads back towards the center of the town to look in on one of his sources.

Vergil finally catches up to the other two looking around.
"I lost you for a bit there, but I guessed you would be heading for the waterfront."

Iris gestures to the ocean.

Vergil spots the boat sailing away.
"So he was on there?"

Leon crosses his arms

"Yeah, Iris here almost had him... it was close"

Vergil sighs.
"Looks like we need to try find out where it is headed, at least we have something more specific to try and find out now."

Iris looks down.

Leon looks over to Iris

"if you're blaming yourself... stop, people in our line of work can't wallow in self-pity"
