Mel smiles at Jenna as she seems to speak inside her head. Keep a close eye on him.

Jenna winks at Mel, returning the borderline telepathy

Mel continues on, suddenly stopping as there is a low buzzing sound ahead.

Alucard climbs the rope and clambers through the window losing his balance and falling on his back.
"Ow."

Mel stays where she is.

Jenna looks around the room

"What is all this stuff?"

"I don't know. I've never seen anything like it before."

"Whatever it is... it can't be good for us"

"I know."

Alucard stands and looks around.
"Damn..."

Mel leans against the wall to wait for Orin and Tsurugi.

"Just need to wait for Tsurugi..."

Yeah... this thead was on the verge of death

Orin helps Tsurugi through the window and raises the rope after him. "So just what is this room intended to be?" he asks, handing the coil to Mel.

Mel puts away the coil. "I'm not sure..." she says, looking uneasily at the door, a low buzzing noise emanating from the frame.

"Don't like the sound of that," Orin said, his eyes on the door and his hand on his pistol.

"Neither do I..." Mel throws something into the doorway. As it passes through, there is a sharp buzz and the object falls to pieces.

Jenna watches the object get torn to pieces

"That's not good... not one bit"

"We'll have to find someway around it..."

"If we can even figure out what it is... it's totally dark over there"

"Whatever it is, it's only in the doorframe." Mel goes over to a vent and pries the cover off.

Jenna looks around, concerned with the situation

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." Mel crawls into the vent. "I'll try to find some way to deactivate the trap. Just stay calm."

Jenna crosses her arms

"Whatever works, I guess"

Mel disappears from sight, and after several minutes, the low buzzing sound stops.

"Why would that be on the door up here? This has got to be a trap. They've got to want us to go through the vent." Orin pondered this for a moment. "I guess we have no other choice though. Damn!"

Jenna grabbs Orin's shoulder before he moves

"Not at all, Mel made the Buzz thing stop, listen"

Mel walks in, clutching her right arm. "All right, it's safe to leave."

"This definatly looks like a trap but we have no other choice and will just have to be more cautious." He pulls out one of his shorter swords and signals for someone else to go first.
