Quality as usual. Slighty Shocked that he likes a game beyond the orange box and silent hill. May have to check this one out.

Thats interesting that a series like this takes an alternate route and maybe doesn't suck.

Brilliant review, as always.

soo, what we learn from this is that requests get fulfilled, as long as we whine enough.

*boingo, boingo, whoopy knickers* I agree wholehartedly.

also, I believe "soap" is a nickname, though that probably makes it even worse.

COD 4 was an excellent game, prob one of the best thats came out in recent years and deserves nothing but praise.

Nice review, good job taking a jab at the whiners, seems like an endless amount of them in the recent reviews.

HAHA i loved it :D

Even though you were happy about the game, all your points are exactly what i thought as well.
I burst out laughing at the chef and the fart joke, but then again i am a sucker for that sort of profanity.

Thumbs up!

Ok wow the guy who absolutely nitpicks on every single minor and ignorable flaw in The Witcher gives CoD4 the praise it doesn't deserve, great, I expected this to make people realize "hey, this game doesn't deserve all the dick stroking it usually gets" but low and behold, even Yahtzee is sucking it off.

Great game, over-rated beyond belief.

Not a bad review but he didn't talk about the multiplayer aspects. Also, I think all the reviews are a bit too short.

I was waiting for the comments on the British portion of the game which I ironically found to be some of the most memorable moments outside of the US' 'Shock and Awe,' which I guess isn't all that surprising since we're comparing a stealth unit's badassery to Call of Duty 2's World War II's hilariously voice acted British individuals that shout 'wanker' every second on the second in the most high pitched, stereotypical British accents you'll ever hear in your life.

But now that Yahtzee has given into the recommendations of the crowd, we can only expect more and more recommendations even if they take the chance of being thrown out of a plane and landing anus first onto a towering skyscraper.

...

Review No More Heroes, please.

I dunno - There are *much* better ZPs out, this one seemed a little uninspired. Perhaps a lack of enthusiasm, who knows.

Here, I'll tell you how to do your job again:

Don't listen to crying idiots when they ask you to review something.

Next Tuesday night, when you're busy "Oh Shitting" the next ZP together and us American's are all celebrating an assassinated President's birthday, hopefully your usually razor sharp wit will return.

Great review as usual, both accurate and entertaining.

I tried this game due to everyone singing it's praises so much and went into it with the same kind of reservations as Yahtzee formed from playing the original CoD and games like the original Medal of Honor. Both are games that I'd put in the former category of games that ended up boring me to tears and forcing me to quit them well before the end. I haven't even wanted to look at any of the sequels to these games since, which makes it all the more surprising that I found CoD4 to be so great.

Damn man, you're getting really good at flash. Nice new effects.

...And that time of the month thing filled me with joy, glee, and disgustingly erotic images.

Of course he's not as excited now, he's not gonna review every goddamn game in the world until the end of time with the enthousiam of a gay broadway tap dancer every week.

He tried something different with the Theatre bit and he said in a recent interview he's preparing to work on various different projects. I dont expect this segment to last forever.

BUT this is, in its current state, one of the greatests things to see on the web for a gamer and that's something, even if he'd quit tomorrow.

Let's just appreciate what he does while it lasts.

Oh, I'm not disagreeing - I laughed my ass off for nearly an hour straight after the GH:III review (which, with the Mass Effect review are probably my two favorites). Pure gold that, if it can last, will soar above meme/fad status.

I'm just saying this -particular- episode, quite frankly, kind of sucked spades.

Criticism is usually welcomed by artists (though Yahtzee appears to be a grumpy bugger), so I suppose I could elaborate on why I think this one doesn't stand up to the usual ZP standards.

The jokes all seemed forced and rather empty. As I said, he seemed unenthusiastic about doing this one, which could've taken him to a place of 'well, time be to internet funny man' instead of "lalala - wanker tosser tea and crumpets" and just being his Dodgy British self.

Forced? Fake? Perhaps both, perhaps niether.

I actually just played COD4 for the first time last week, and it was only for about a half hour of multiplayer. Now I've never really liked any of the earlier ones, but I loved the 'class' system multiplayer had and genuinely enjoyed myself, despite being caught off guard by Survivalist's "Last Stand" where they're supposed to die but instead fall to the ground and shoot you until they are finished off. I may have to pick this one up, since the single player might be worth it, as the video said.

lmoa ok man calm down and shut your f***ing mouth! you and your crew dead is not buetiful.... it shows how war glorifying those gaes are (note to the d***s who read this: i have all 4 CoD games so im not one of those peace f***ers). it was not a perfect ending, or a perfect game, it was ok. GoW was better. half life was better. heck, CoD 2 and 3 were better. its a good game with a stupid ending and stop making such a racket about it.

Excellent. Had me laughing again, as most since "BioShock" and "GHIII" have elicted only minor chuckles or smirks. Bang on the money with this one.

I didnt find this review as funny as previous ones, but oh well.

Is it me or are most FPS games overrated? I play them a lot but most FPS games get overhyped, and I don't think CoD4 was an exception here. Not a bad game by any means, but I just dont see that much... goodness in it.

That said, I haven't played the single player, so maybe my opinion will change after I play it a bit more.

Really good review there, Yahtzee.

I wouldn't mind if the Theatre replaced ZP. Although I would miss the reviews, Painkiller is probably my most watched Yahtzee video.
