The Iron Ninja:
I took him back to the spot and stole everything he had. Even his boots.
I didn't really want his boots but I took them anyway.
Does anybody want them? you can have them.

Just the boots? I took the boots to throw at people, his shirt to strangle people, his pants to hang people, and I'm not going to mention what I did to people with his underwear.

i am evil

all your possessions are belonging to me

that will teach the idiot for following me to a secluded area, who follows an armed man to a secluded area thats like saying "please stab me and loot my corpse"

I played threw the first fable being evil, then good, and then doing what I thought I'd actually do in the situations. I think I'll stick with that this time around as well... though maybe I'll do the latter first this time so it's a little more impactful.

Damn... I should have known better than to be the good guy. This is totally like real life. Like that airline was ever going to bother finding the owner of that iPod... I just gave away my luck.

Man the neutral approach to this situation was a bit anti-climatic...

I just leave the coinpurse there and not say anything in case he's a theif...
Wish i'd taken the bloody thing now...

Also what's this i read in a previous post that Fable 2 is made in the USA?
No it's not, Lionhead Studios, the company responsible for Fable is based in Guildford in Surrey...

Which is in the UK (45 mins South from where i live to be almost exact)
It may well be mass produced in america, but it's definately made here in the UK.

(just thought i'd correct them on that.)

Uh, hello, its NEUTRAL! what do you expect? neutral action, neutral consequences, makes sense to me.

Anyway, like I say, I am a mean, evil motherfucker. I took him back to where I had the purse and stole the rest of his stuff. Too bad it didn't give me the option to kill him and take all his stuff. would have done that. "Oh, yeah, I found it, it's right over here." SPLAT!

This discussion is not about the game. It is about the new daily quizzes The Escapist is doing, which just so happen to be sponsored by the game. Next time, read the Original Post.

Bribery? Do you know how much a guards sword is worth? I'd kill the guard and take his stuff to sell it to people. That way I don't lose money, I make money.

I know that Neutral is generally anti-climatic, but really i didn't feel like giving it back to the guy and i didn't feel like killing him, i just wanted to keep the bloody coinpurse, instead i leave it where it lie and keep my mouth shut like a good little nobody.

I relaise they're only little fun quizes but really, it just doesn't reflect my choice well enough.

Just thought that as it sat very clearly in the middle that some middle ground between the choices wouldn't be too much to expect.
Ah well, i'm sure the future questions will have a more straight-forward solution.

I'm not going to get too excited about a Fable Game before it lets you design your own spells, then again I'd just design a "Put Boobs on Head" spell and giggle insatiably at the Be-Titted evil overlord.

"oh hello mr.guard say hello to mr. stabby" insert knife watch guard fall down dead [insert maniacal laughter] steal guards clothes and now i can pretend to be a corrupt guard instead of a robber, good thing that guard came along.

the moral of the story is violence solves everything and TEAM EVIL ALWAYS PREVAILS!!

Especially when my bribed guard is enacting some 'arrest procedures' on his ass. It's always better to work with the Law when the Law works for you.

Before you kill all the guards for not coming fast enough. Also they might turn on you.

play the middle man, do some evil, then balance it out by petting some dogs for a while. If i give money to orphans i can reward myself by stabbing their caretaker and finish in the grey area inbetween good an evil

Perhaps, but then, who would give their wife and kids the antidote? :)

I realize they're only little fun quizzes but really, it just doesn't reflect my choice well enough.

In addition to being a Fable-themed quiz, the questions and available responses are also subtly mocking the tendency in RPGs to require you to be either a saint or a baby-eater, with the occasional option of just being boring. We're being very meta here.

Mmmm...babies the other other white meat

but i gotta ask why do you play pure good? is it to make you feel less like a tool?
i always play evil first cause its the most entertaining, being good is just too annoying and counter productive. i mean if your always protecting the villagers from bandits how are they supposed to learn to protect themselves. when i loot villages its survival of the fittest where only the best(i.e. me) survive and everyone else gets to either burn or get some new wholes to breath from

Ok, seems a bit clearer now, i think i'll hold back on trying to be myself now.

Then again, me and my Fable Character aren't too disimilar.

If it makes you feel better, no, your not. Besides, you'll be special because you'll end up with a "good alignment" forum badge after all this. Considering how many evil S.O.B.s there are in this thread alone, those things are bound to be rare.

Again, why give them and antidote? Why not kill them and take all of their money and possessions, then rent out their house, extort the new owners for outrageous amounts of money, then kill them and take all of their money.
