Fifteen Guitar Hero: On Tour Tracks Revealed

KISS, Smash Mouth and Twisted Sister star in Guitar Hero: On Tour.

In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, Activision offered up fifteen of the 25 total songs in Guitar Hero: On Tour for the Nintendo DS.

The game, which spans generations like its predecessors, features a higher percentage of modern music, such as Smash Mouth, Daughtry, Maroon 5, and Daughtry, with many of the songs being recognizable to the Nintendo DS demographic.

The fifteen songs released thus far are:

• Do What You Want - OK Go
• All The Small Things - Blink 182
• Spiderwebs - No Doubt
• Are You Gona Be My Girl - Jet
• We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister
• All Star - Smash Mouth
• Breed - Nirvana
• Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield
• Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar
• This Love - Maroon 5
• Heaven - Los Lonely Boys
• Helicopter - Bloc Party
• China Grove - The Doobie Brothers
• Rock and Roll All Nite - KISS (cover by Line 6)
• What I Want - Daughtry

I will only be satisfied when The Hold Steady appear on a Guitar Hero game. C'mon, we're getting OK Go's real music, now; we're half-way there!

Jeez.. I would be embarrassed to be caught on the bus with my DS playing some of these songs. Really geared towards the American Idol crowd on this one.

I was excited to see what songs they'd come up with here... hopefully, the rest will be better.

Oh my god... who wouldn't kill to play Jessie's Girl in Guitar Hero? That song is distilled ass kickery. Playing it on the DS's grubby little screen will likely dim the magic. Perhaps a console rendition is not too much to hope for.

Wow. I couldn't possibly care less about Guitar Hero on any system, but that is possibly the worst song list I have ever seen in my life. For anything.

Well besides not caring about GH at all I totally agree with what you said.

This is why i play Frets on Fire, you can download almost any song, my collection is about 500 and growing, not to mention you have access to harder, faster songs

GH Fire and flames has nothing on the FoF Fire and Flames, let alone something like Revolution death squad.

'Are you gonna be my girl' looks good though.

To be fair, I get the feeling Nintendo was aiming for songs popular with a younger generation. The DS generation. Of course there are some older classics, but many of those are also quite famous. Rather than the typical GH classic rock soundtrack, this is more modern.
