Froce:

the monopoly guy:

I like STEAM

That is WWWWAAAAAYYY too much.

I am so glad that statement was retracted. Now if you said you had a laptop and liked steam, I'm not sure how I'd harm myself but I'm pretty sure it would be painful & debilitating,

but at least the pain transference would allow me to get through ravenholm :(

erm, I got far more value for money from the siege levels on Giants: Ctz.Kabuto & Unreal 2 than I think the devs intended.

funnily enough I was gonna buy U2 again when i saw it on steam, then I remembered it was on steam.

I used to think it was cool to have Pokémon on my phone.

and my friends hate me cos I'm 'that guy' on bishi bashi special (yes I still play it), especially when drinking *shame*

I think that the first Super Smash Bros. is still the best in the gameplay department.

*sigh* all right, I just found out something horrifying in my past that I had completely forgotten, and it's making me burn with shame now that I know it. So much so that I'd rather you hear it from me now than from someone else later, so let me confess it now and get it out of my system, so that my conscience may be clean.

I was looking over my school yearbooks recently and found out that one of my kindergarten classmates, who at age 5 was one of my best friends (and whose last name I had forgotten since then)...

...was Byron Hall.

THE Byron Hall.

Yes, I was on first-name terms, as a child, with that guy. Thankfully, I haven't seen him in years. Although yes, he was insane when I knew him, but not nearly THAT insane, at least he didn't seem so. My parents hated him, of course (and that was when he was 5), and at the time I had no idea why.

(oh yes, and he's a year older than me, which means in 2002 he was seventeen years old. Explains a lot, doesn't it?)

Silent Hill 2 was so purely terrifying to me, I destroyed it in my fireplace.

I Played Fusion Frenzy. And ENJOYED it. (It was the only thing at gamestop for $5)

!SPOILER ALERT TO ANYONE WHO HAD NOT FINISHED CoD4!

I cried like a baby when Captain Price died. I'm proud to say that one though.

I think Majora's Mask is better than Ocarina of Time.

I loved Donkey Kong 64 and play it almost every weekend.

I actually really liked Super Mario Sunshine, and I loved playing every one of the 120 shine sprites, and I don't think it was the worst Mario game...

And Sonic Adventure Battle 2 is another game I love.

I didn't hate the gamecube. How's that for a confession?

Oh and... I collected ears.

Before there was Guitar Hero, there was Taiko Drum Master and quite enjoyed it (for a little while anyway).

I quite enjoyed Fallout:Brotherhood of Steel for XBOX. But I wouldn't DARE mention that on a Fallout fan site. They are still upset about that sequel.

I was scared shitless by the Vampire Bloodlines quest with the haunted house and the girl who had her head stuck in a washing machine.

I didn't like GTA san andreas.

I broke my diablo 2 copy AND my nox copy. I'm still sad about that. I can't seem to get a new Nox copy anywhere... I loved that game.

I think I said early on this thread that I do not own any game made by valve. Well I bought the orange Box and enjoyed it, Go me.

I don't own any Grand theft Auto title, I don't own any RE title and the only game I sometimes play on the PC is Dawn of War.

I also bought Golden Eye second hand and stopped playing by the time I got to the snow level. Respawning bad guys in a Siberian wasteland ruin any game in my opinion.

-I found Ocarina of Time to be nothing special

-I think I played GTA games so much that I'm kind of burnt out on it, and I don't really want to play GTA 4 now

-I find Super Smash Bros games boring

-Kirby games are great

I once played Barbie: Secret Agent, and finished it.
And, I've had Mass Effect for 6 weeks now, and still haven't finished it.
And, Im affraid to talk on Live cause of the other players. Stupid, i know.

Oh well.

The talking on Live/PSN bit is true for me too. I also get very nervous while playing online and make lots of mistakes because of the jitters. I can't play more than three rounds of a game online because of the nerves and I get very upset when I foul up in front of people.

OK, my turn (male, 29):

I donīt like Morrowind and Baldurīs Gate (Yet love Icewind Dale an Planescape)

I had a great time playing Kane & Lynch, Lego Star Wars and Quake 4

I donīt like online multiplayer

I donīt have the endurance to play any MMORPG (I own quite a lot of them and Iīm not even playing Guild Wars. And that even without a monthly fee!)

I donīt have any potential to successfully play either a Sims, Sim City or Viva Pinata game

Same here, not having english as a first language isn't helping either.

So, my confessions:

1. I wasted my entire 2007 summer playing Pokemon Pearl. And I regret nothing.
2. I honestly thought all the THPS games were completely awesome, up until Wasteland.
3. I never owned a N64, but I borrowed the NGC version of Ocarina of Time from a friend of mine, and gave up during the first dungeon, I just didn't care for it at all. Which brings me to my next confession...
4. Wind Waker is one of the best games I've ever played. Ever.
5. I spent something close to 250 hours playing SSBM, and I still haven't played SSBB.
6. I'm already bored of GTA IV.
7. I'm completely paranoid about getting bad rep on Live.
8. I'm going to buy a Wii for SSBB. I honestly can't think of a single other Wii game that interests me, so basically, SSBB is going to cost me close to 300 euros.
9. I found Viva Pinata to be an extremely hard and frustrating game.

The only game I have actually enjoyed on Wii has been Zelda, It was worth it though.

I've been down that road as well. It starts as a minor annoyance because it keeps dodging your shots. Then, when you're down to about 30 health, you start to panic and flail about...I feel your pain.

I have so far only played one game online in all of my life and that was trackmania sunrise.
I can't play horror games. At least not that subtle, something-could-jump-out-and-attack-you-at-any-moment kind of horror, I'm absolutely ok with any kind of pulse pounding action, no matter how violent it may be.
I'm a Games-are-Art Hippie
I think GTA 2 and Goldeneye are the best multiplayer games ever made, even up until today.

I thought Bioshock was the the worst game ever. The combat was lousy and the storyline was boring. And the only aspect of the game more tired than the voice acting was the setting.
Is what I would say if I was a blasphemic-cocaine-addicted-yellow-bellied-heretic.

(I liked Bioshock and I don't think blasphemic is a word)
Oh, and I never once played Starcraft without cheats (I was 8 OK!)

I cried when i completed Final Fantasy 9 (since then i regretted it but it was the first i played at about 12 years old).

When i was 6 i recorded myself "bopping" to the micro-machines racing 2 game. (the tape as since been recorded over and burnt and binned)

I once became a total recluse because i decided that the real world would never be as good as the Final fantasy 10-2 world (or final fantasy 10 without sin and yevon) i literally said nothing and saw almost no-one for about 4 days and finally had a good cry and let it all out to an old tutor of mine.

Starcraft is a beast dude, I can't understand how people really beat the campaign without cheats.

I haven't played a lot of games that many seem to expect gamers to have played; Deus Ex, any Diablo, any Baldur's Gate, any Final Fantasy, any GTA, any Mortal Kombat, Chrono Trigger, any Resident Evil, any Silent Hill, Bioshock (before that game released I looked at it and thought "hype machine" and never had any interest in it since), and the only reason I play Starcraft is to be the Terrans and train a ghost, because they're so badass.

By the way, does anyone else have a lot of trouble figuring out what is what in the pixelated mess that is Starcraft?

I actually enjoy Gears of War. Not enough to actually buy it, and I hated the single player, but the multiplayer is a lot of fun. Mostly 'cuz of the laughably exaggerated ultraviolence though.

I think Halo 3 is a decently fun game, as well. (Um, does anyone else find Sangheili ["Elites"] kind of... attractive? <.<; )

Call of Duty 4 was way overrated.

assassin18:

6. >_> I thought portal is a bit overrated

I agree. It was way fun, had a cool concept, and the humour was good, but it was too short to be *that* good. And the cake stuff is beginning to get old.

EDIT: I think Super Smash Bros. Brawl is actually a lot of fun.

Youre freaking insane. I love it. XD

Sometimes after I have been gaming alot I confuse reality a little bit. Not to the extent that the media claims of going out and killing people just if a convo goes the wrong way I think I can just hit L1,L2,R1,R2,Select,Start and try again. Also once in a playfight with a friend I swear I thought I saw a God of War style quick time event.
