But actually have a sniper playing red on dustbowl and they're good, the opposing team will be have to play as a team or he is just going to be plinking headshots over and over. |

Hell, he can even take down a Pyro at close range by firing rockets at the ground (this should get fixed somehow. It's not right that someone can beat a class at their own game by using a tactic that doesn't require much skill). He has an advantage over the Heavy in firepower, in that he can pop out from behind cover, fire a rocket, then get back behind cover. He has a hell of a lot of ammo, so he can do just about as good of a job providing suppressing fire as the Heavy can. |

He easily edges out the Pyro in close quarters due to the aforementioned tactic, and is pretty durable and strong. But that's fine for the most part for him to be powerful. He's a good easy mode class (If I can use that term without too much rancor) for beginners with some more advanced strategies. That said, my favorite? Spy. Love those slow Soldier and Heavy piggies. And it's delicious fun to sneak around as their own team, and really get them going into thinking you're on their side. An extra demoman on the attack team, right? Wrong. Quad-stab on the attack team. |

It's a really necessary class, without a couple Medics it's almost impossible to break a strong point guarded by multiple Engineers. And if things go bad, the Medic is one of the fastest classes, with regeneration to boot, so you can just get out of dodge if something happens to whoever you're healing. The biggest complaint people make about the Medic is that it's boring, but I think that's only true if not played right. The Medic isn't best just attaching himself to a Heavy the whole game, he's much more efficient keeping an entire offense buffed (and it charges your Uber very fast). One Heavy with 450hp is good and all, but having whole group of players all moderately buffed can be a much more powerful force. It also has some thinking involved, which I like. The Medic is the only class who's sole job is to pay attention to allied players and to keep track of them. As such, I'm constantly remembering things about players on my team, who's a good scorer, who spams "Medic" when not needed and is low priority, who is most effective when Ubered, etc.. Paying attention to these things and allied players classes also gives wonderful insight into every team's scourge, the Spy. Trying to keep an eye on who is where and what class makes Spies fairly easy to spot, especially when they're doing the unusual things that spies do, many like to hang out disguised right behind the front waiting for a good stab opportunity, which generally earns the Bonesaw to the head. Good class, fun class for me, and the team usually can use another one. The Best class though would probably be the Soldier. High health, capable of fighting all classes at all ranges, devastating Critical Hits with splash damage and capable of the Rocket Jump, the Soldier is a very powerful class (maybe too powerful). |

My best, however, is the engineer. I'm an offensive mastermind that places dispensers and teleporters discretely and effectively to facilitate my team's offense a bit better. I'm not too fond of sentry guns, to say the truth- they require a lot of work and attention, and while they do well to dish out lots of damage, they are a joke to take down unless three or four of them have been clustered to keep everything at bay. Spy saps, Soldier rocket pop-ups, Scout fine-angled pistol shots and Demomen stickies will take out your gun if it's the only one guarding an area. I usually end up building a sentry in one very obtrusive spot to the enemy as a result, to help my team on the fly at a prolonged battlefield. I upgrade my sentries sporadically, depending on need and other factors. I find dispensers to be much more invaluable to my team. They also cost only 100 metal, which you can pick up from any dropped enemy weapons. Build, demolish, and rebuild at an advanced area's the way forward! I play all classes, but apart from an engineer I also make a pretty good Medic. I watch over my team and usually balance my healing so that everyone is content rather than focus on one guy whose already buffed to the max- he doesn't need it anymore. Better heal a teammate in the red area of the spectrum and keep them firing. I also find myself ubering Pyros the most, because, let's be honest, what's scarier than that? |

sorry if you like the one that i've missed out but I can't remember right now and there's not enough options anyway
my favourite is the spy,he is terribly under-used and under-rated but in the right hands he has great has potential as he has a guaranteed one-hit kill back-stab and can go right up to the enemy base unnoticed,he's the only way to destroy enemy sentry's without endangering yourself. People don't like how the pyro reveals him to the enemy but if you're smart you'll cloak as soon as you see one and then get behind him, then stab.
