Goldeneye, N64. 1 on 1 in the caves. I'm getting pasted (as usual) and in deperation grab the rpc90, then spray. My mate's packing the rocket launcher, but he misses his first shot. Then he misses his second, then his third. All the while I'm spraying frantically away and eventually he goes down.

In a game to twenty this is my first kill, I punch the air and howl in delight. Only to notice too late the thin grey trail zipping towards me. His forth rocket hits the camera in dead centre, having flown the entire length of the largest room in the map.
Naturally its also kill 20, he wins. Again.

Bugger...

Grabbing a Combine Elite with the Super-GravGun and tossing him into a crowd of three Soldiers, knocking all of them of the walkway.

Dawn of War: Dark Crusade haha. I was playing tau with 3 of my friends, 4v4. We were pretty much winning when they organised an attack and killed two of my friends. I quickly made an army and lured them into my friends base. When they were busy killing him, he prepared his stuff (Space marines' dreadnaughts and terminators) and we attacked them.

They were completely took by surprise and we had time to kill 2 of em before they tried to do anything. But when they realised they had no chance at stopping our massive army with what was left of theirs, they decided to kill what was left of our base (my friend built and hq near mine). We were killing the last one when my friend died and I finally won the game when I finished the last guy. The match was so close that right when I destroyed his HQ, he destroyed my barracks (both our last building). But I destroyed his first so I won.

One of my favorite things to do in Tribes 2 when I was just messing around was to grab a satchel charge and a Shrike or a grav cycle. Then I'd abandon my vehicle somewhere near the enemy base, drop the satchel charge in it (which was harder than it sounds), and wait around nearby. The next enemy to see the vehicle and go "Hooray! Free ride!" pulled a Team Rocket.

Another fun of killing people with vehicles was to take a Shrike, loop around behind the enemy base, and skim their towers. Usually there were a couple of heavies camped out there on defense, but they were almost always facing the wrong way. You could usually wound and kill one before they noticed you.

Also, I was really good at placing turrets. I probably got more turret kills than dueling kills, ever.

The most ridiculous kill I ever got, though, has to be this one time when I was playing some random mod. I was in heavy armor, and I'd spent a lot of time sneaking under water to an area behind the enemy base. As I was trudging up the slope to start spamming my mortar, one of the defenders (who for some reason was behind me) noticed me and started firing his spinfusor at me. He wasn't very good at it; without turning around, I kept on walking up the slope, moving slightly every once in a while so the disks just flew past me. He was firing the things as fast as he could, and by that point I knew exactly what the reload time of a spinfusor was, so dodging wasn't very difficult, even without looking. Eventually I guess he ran out of ammo or something, because he ran past me, back towards his base; a little bit later I opened up with my mortar and unleashed footballs of doom, killing him and wrecking a lot of his base in the process.

What really gives a sense of euphoria is the inexplicable ability to walk into the frontline of a battlefeild with a sniper and casually pop off headshots left and right. It happens to me, but not often; sweet feeling.

sorry but halo 3, stuck a guy then grav hammered him into his team mates in a team slayer match, and got triple kill. i laughed ofr, oh, say 10 minutes at the baseball kill.

also anyone notice how fun killing shit with a wall heater is in freaking half life???

I remember first playing half life 2, and nailing the first combine soldier with the crowbar, and getting that split-second single frame of the combine mask with bloodsplat all over it. To me that was golden. As well as not long after hitting another combine with a headshot and seeing him fly down backwards at the speed of a bullet and the bloodsplat on the wall behind.
To me that game brought me into a new era for realism.

And tho not really a player kill, a great death I found hilarious was in Max Payne 2, looking back into your own apartment and seeing the cleaners rigging the room up with a bomb, one talking about how as soon as he (you, max payne) walks through that door the bomb`ll go off and he wont know what hit him. Then another douchebag runs through that same door and says something like "whats going o.." Boom!

Even though it was the same bad guy texture I swear you could just read "Stupid" all over that guy running into the room.
I thought that was indeed classic.

OK, it's not necessarily a kill, but I love one of the KO's in Hitman Blood Money. It is in the 'A New Life' map, and if you pick up the bottle of ether and put it on a pair of panties in a room, you KO one of the FBI agents. He passes out in mid-sniff and smacks his head on the desk as he falls. It's priceless

Then again, some of the kills you get in blood money are kinda cool. Example, the final level [Requiem] I got three headshots with the same round from my .45s, priceless.

About my favorite kill from HL2:DM was when I hit a friend in the face with a dirty toilet.

Buddy o' mine was playing Vice City on some mission where you team up with Lance.
The mission was to protect some body, forget who, and we kept taking turns at screwing it up.
Eventually, mission goes smoothly until Lance caps someone from our side. This made my bud go nuts, he was actually yelling "LANCE!!" over and over at the screen. He tried to take out Lance, who'd disappeared by that point, and then got a helicopter after him plus about 4 police cars.
He took them all out with the revolver while standing in the middle of an open field.
The helicopter was right over his head, and one of the cars ignited on the way to him from idiocy or whatever, but it was still pretty awesome to see some guy standing in a field, blowing up cars and stuff screaming "LANCE!! LANCE!!" at the top of his lungs.

There was another kill I had on CoD4 where I had been owning the match as a..I think it's a Defender, anyway, I had a shotgun. Some wise guy thought he'd beat me at my own game and switched to my class. We ended up with him chasing me down a street until he caught up and fired at me. We found out later, in the replay, that as he fired I'd gone to prone, then swiveled around as he fired where my legs had been, then he shot at my legs AGAIN and ended with lead in the head.
Essentially, I'd ran, slid, swung legs around to face him, then gave him a gut of lead after he fired the 3 remaining shots in his chamber at me.
Good stuff.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent; I killed a guy on the stairs above me. It was cool at the time.

I apologize for beeing a N00b.

I recall one time in BF2 after barely surviving a tank encounter, this random terrorist tries to knife me, I was engineer and still had the AT Mines from destroying the tank to out of desperation I just threw the mine and hit the bastard in the head, (DEC_42 [Killed] that guy). I don't think BF2 had a message for that sort of kill yet =)

And in COD4 was some of my best kills ever. In Over grown I was waiting in the barn to "recover" and I jumped down from the ledge not knowing there was a rusky down below. Impulsively, I pressed the knife button and it was freaking awesome, me coming down on him and knifing his head open.

Another COD4 one, this was in the Single-Player mission where you had to Assassinate Zahkaev w/ the .50 cal. After shooting him directly in the neck (Activison really needed to make the time line make sense) and knowing he would survive because supposedly I only got his arm. I just started to shoot randomly and the bullet trajectory just nailed a guy in his ass as he was fleeing.

EVE online, come across a Dominix class battleship piloted by some idiot. I'm in a Hawk assault frigate, buddy of mine is in a thorax cruiser.

After roughly 5 minutes of combat the cruiser pilot warped out because he was getting hammered by the battleship. So there's me, in my lowly frigate, chewing down the last bit of the battleship's hull. With rockets. Oh such a nice kill when you pop something 30x your size.

Holy crap, I'm not the only one who plays EVE Here!
Anyways, this was during a Corp war and Me, and 2 more corpmates were in Myrmidons (Battlecruisers) and we encountered this Hyperion (colossal battleship), loaded w/ T2 weapons and setup with immense resists. It was just an amazing kill, I'm glad I made the last shot. The battle was intense with drones EVERYWHERE and shots spraying out from both sides. The battle lasted about 8 minutes or so. It was around 3 AM, and my defective iPod reset to think it was on Pacific time (3 hours less than Eastern), when I set my alarm for 6:00. The iPod starts playing The Jurassic Park theme (so you have to know the theme in order know how amazing it sounds) and I lay the final blow with only a few hull points and the music comes to a climax.

There are just WAY too many awesome kills in SSBM for me to list the best one, so I'll leave it at that

Half Life opposing Force multiplayer:
I had a sniper rifle and was standing on a high placed platform and one of my opponents was using the gun(dunno how to call it anymore) to eleveate himself from the floor to some higher platform (80-89 meters higher) i saw it instead of sniping i ran to the direction he was eleveating and jumped down and in mid air at the exact point we meeted (me falling down ->he getting eleveated) i shoot without zoom etc and killed him :X

Many years ago when I playing Counter-Strike, I was really on a roll. So I decided to test my luck and try to knife some guy that had been camping in fy_iceworld with a para. I pretty much charge straight at the guy, jumping around trying to avoid fire, while he unloads his 100 round clip at me. Somehow I got to him and swipped him twice with my knife for the kill.

I still have no idea how someone could be that bad or how my luck was so awesome that day.

Metal Gear Solid 3:
Threw a guy I had caught behind me. Turns out that his flailing body shoved some guy coming up behind me out of the way and in front of a door. The door burst open sending the man flying as I had Snake duck for cover. Then I had to pause the game to stop laughing.

In CoD4;
1. A knife fest: (Regular Deathmatch) I'm walking up the stairs in "Crash Site" (i think is the name), kill a guy in the corner, look at the balcony and see two guys trying to knife each other. I go up to one guy, knife him, and the other guy tries to knife me but misses. I run towards him, atempt to knife but miss. He tries to knife me in the back and misses again. Then i go to him AGAIN and try to knife him but miss AGAIN, and then he finaly knifes me.

It was crazy.

On Battlefield 1942 and 2142 - several times, I have launched frontal assaults on bots with my knife and killed them.

In Half-Life 2, I took out several Combine in a room by hurling a large desk at them.

I've got quite a few I can't remember, but I remember playing Forge on Halo 3, a game my friends and I play where you take turns as the Monitor and Spartan trying to kill each other.
So, I was on Valhalla on the top of the hill in the middle, the Monitor had a radio antennae he was trying to crush me with, and I had an empty SMG and a Grav Hammer.
Of course, I waited 'till he swung at me, jumped on the radio antennae and ran up it to his face. He started pushing it away to get me as far back as possible, but I jumped off the end and smashed him with the Grav Hammer. Sweet victory.

Halo 3:
On the level The Storm I had a 'hog and was driving towards a ramp in the first AA Wraith section. I hit the ramp and the warthog turned sideways, glided across the wraith and killed the gunner.

Halo 2:
Coag, I'm in a Wraith somewhere in the centre (though still near my base) and I see a Banshee flying towards the other base, with an enemy in it. I shoot, he exits the Banshee and both he and it drop down the hole in the roof. Then, I see my shot disappear into the same hole. A moment later, I see the Banshee exploding and got a kill :D

Another in Halo 2, Relic, Slayer with random weapons (or swords, I can't remember) at start. Start of the match. I spawn near the Ghost at the Relic tower, enter and run half a lap or so around the Relic. I suddenly round a corner and see two people walking straight towards each other with swords drawn, they hadn't noticed me. I slam the booster and WHAM, double kill. And first blood. That was awesome :D

Team Slayer, Turf. It's chaos in the main street, weapons dropping everywhere. I run to the Warthog at the end, hop into the turret and get a killing spree before somebody pops a rocket and totals the 'hog.

Not really a kill, more like a technique. Slayer, Midship, Shotgun/PP. Everyone is running around with charged plasma pistols, the n00bs generally with shotguns (I only play at LAN parties with a fixed group of friends). So everyone is popping each other's shields with the Pistol and then meleeing or switching to shotgun, but I'd thought of another tactic - run up, shotgun from some distance away and if they're not dead (which is usually the case) melee them and get an insta-beatdown/assassinate. That was one of my better games. Ahh, good times.

Attempting to snipe someone who's moving left and right on a ledge, and missing four times in a row. XD

First time I ever played Halo. Team CTF, Terminal. I somehow managed to get in a Warthog and I'm driving it around in some small courtyard, running into stuff all the time. Then my team's flagcarrier attempts to run through the courtyard into our base to plant the flag..... Let's just say, that was the first CTF point I ever made :P

I'm not sure about this one - Co-op, the level where you have to kill the Heretic Leader and he pops two holograms. I remember flailing at one with my sword a few times, and then suddenly we get a cutscene. Again, I'm not really sure about this one, since I believe the guy goes active camo? still, that was pretty epic, accidentally ending a level after less than ten seconds XD

Probably Team Fortress 2, one of the Dm_Duel maps. Was standing on a ledge just under the enemy's window (had tried to jump in but missed), I was playing as a soldier so I just jumped up so I could see in... fired one rocket and killed three people.

Second would probably be a Halo match, I'm rubbish at Halo and all shooting games for consoles. Was playing a friendly match with two friends (quite above average). One of themwas charging his S. Laser at me inside a healing shell, I was driving a ghost trying to get by him. The ghost hit a bump and whacked him straight in the face, he fell like a ragdoll into the stream.

Images can say more than words, F.E.A.R., one of the Demoes, not sure which one. It was purely golden. I think it was the shotgun that has done it.

Apart from that in Hitman contracts doing a double Headshot with the Sniper Rifle, effectively completing two objectives at the same time *and* getting Silent Assassin for the same mission... I could not believe my eye/ears.

In Mark of Chaos (online) an enemy Elf army hid itself in the corner, I ws playing Khorne and my usual tactic was sending units on the flank and Rear, the main force making the enemy think this is it. It turned out they were in the corner so my main force came to meet them... I was scared of the dragon and my flanking force was a long way behind. Still, I fought. It was a sad sight at first, but when the attack from the flank came (finaly), it was their death. The dragon died from two Spawns which I took more from the fact that they look nice than they are powerful (against Dragons though, very nice).

Halo 3, not Plasma Granade
I was playing on Vallhala on team battle, when I loaded a Sparten Laser, not having a target and being almost dead, and as it is about to shoot, a fully loaded enemy Warthog comes barraling over one of the hills, about 30 feet away, so I took aim in the time of 2 secondeds, and nailed him, on the dot killing all three getting the laser award. Best Shot Ever.

Halo 3 again
My freind was riding a Mongoose in Vallhala, and when he was about to hit the man cannon(The blue cannon on each base that launches players), an enemy throws a grenade that landed under him and the man he was riding with. As the grenade exploded, he went flying through the air doing a sixtopil barrel role, landing on two other players, killing them both, and then blowing up from a sparten laser. When he told me this, I might have wet my pants.

to be brutally honest, mine was in CoD4...
i was in the middle of pipeline...well not so much middle..anyway, i had last stand and people were all grouped around someone planting a c4...or something...anyway, i fired a clip at the wall and hit said explosive...their screams were hilarious.

Halo 3 (not Stick)

The Ark: in the second section at the begining(where the Hunters come in). Im standing on the ridge and pull out my sniper. I make a headshot on a brute, revealing 2 more brutes behind him, I take another shot killing both brutes and a grunt behind them.

Halo 3

Tsavo Highway(I don't have live yet<.<) In the part where the two phantoms (three if legendary...I think) come in. I jump over a 18 wheeler and fire my battle rifle at a brute, miss, hit a grunt in the head and he explodes in cofetti(GBP)and the explosion sets off a fusion coil that kills about 5 enemies.

My friend was playing Army of Two for the Xbox 360 with his friend online. As I am reading Dr. Sean's post when I look at the screen. My freind is in cover with a machine gun, and his freind is in cover aiming with a Gattling gun. My freind screams in his mic, verbatium (Exactly), "Dude, gattling guns aren't for percision aiming, it's for running out and mowing". His friend, during my friend's speech, runs out and starts shooting randomly in an open catwalk with two barracades about 20 feet apart from each other, with my friend holed up 30 feet away from the first one, with his friend walking up to the first barraced. A man with a shotgun, 1 seconded after my friend stops talking, pop outs out and nails his friend in the face, sending him back to in front of my freinds barraced doing a backflip, and landing on his back, going into Hurt-And-I-Need-Help-Please-Heal-Me mode, as this is in Pro mode he can't go out to get him, and the same shotgun guy goes out and kills him. Not a kill for him, but awsome none the less.

TF2. I was playing medic, healing a soldier. I ubered him and he charged heading towards this sentry gun, killing loads of opposing players as he went. Alas, he ran out of ammo before getting to the gun.

Never fear, though, for he smashed it to death with his entrenching tool. Then the uber wore off and we died.

I was playing COD 4 search and destroy on overgrown and I accidentally pulled the trigger on my desert eagle and got a headshot off of a prone sniper. I didn't even see him.

I'm no sniper, I admit. so it was a true peice of glory that one time I whipped around and BOOM HEADSHOT in Star Wars Battlefront.

dude, how the hell did you do that? i managed to get one where i shot a replica and he slowly fell back into a chair and stayed there with 2 fingers of his right hand stuck in his mouth, as if he was just enjoying himself and smoking a cigarette.

I once managed to snipe someone in the face while playing Halo 3 without actually aiming. On the level with the big field and there are two buildings on either side and you get a ghost or a banshee or something. I stepped into one of the booster things and saw that my friend was about to hit me with a spartan laser so I randomly fired in his direction and got him right in the face. I laughed so much I didn't realise that he'd respawned and snuck up behind me with a grenade.

Watching my body sail through the air in a ragdoll like fashion I simply said "So worth it."

I also was once against the same friend, he had an almost charged spartan laser and I had a normal handgun. I fired at him and he ducked behind a wall and came back out as he released the laser. He released it too early though, and he blew himself up, kinda like in the "Master Chief sucks at Halo" video. Not really my kill, but still.

Slicing up Deviant in Soldier Of Fortune2 for the heinous loading time still brings a happy tear to my eye.
