Now that Nintendo can use Sega characters (ie: Sonic) in their games, maybe they can bring in the guy from Altered Beast?

You've got to realise that Nintendo don't have the right to use any 3rd party characters. It's only that sega and konami sent in sonic and snake probably for a large amount of cash.

So they couldn't use Megaman 'cause he's cowned by Capcom, unless Capcom allowed them to.

Actualy the NT WARRIOR series prety much cleard that up.
Also I would like to see PAC-MAN, CHIBI-ROBO and Toad.

Kratos - for sheer bloody violence. Go eye gouging and decapitation!

Was never on Nintendo Console. Is in the works for the Sony equivilant of the series.

I don't remember Solid Snake ever being on one either, but that didn't seem to stop him from using his trusty ol' cardboard box to sneak his way in. And yeah, I read the rules but I'm just being realistic.

If they were to add Megaman, they might as well talk Capcom into adding Ryu

First Metal Gear, Solid Snakes first mission. Weren't expecting that, were you? Trust me, Nintendo has enough legitimate third party characters.

I really only want Conker, for two reasons - 1. The context sensitive would be awesome in terms of moves, and 2. The game subverted all the main rules of platformers, from no blood to the main characters love interest dying. The Singing lumpo of crap would be too big and the panter king would be too generic. Von Cripple might work.

Know what would be even cooler? If this franchise was dead.

Technacly, this is the last Super Smash Bros. game. I believe the creator said that this was his last SSB project, not sure, but i heard it somewhere.

Here's an idea. How about they create some original, playable characters that are only in this franchise?

Paperboy, A Boy and his Blob, the Tetris blocks, Battletoads, CUSTOMIZABLE MII FIGHTERS, Lemmings, Bayou Billy, King Hippo, Eggplant Wizard, Little Mac (playable), the River City Ransom guys, The floating head guy from Brain Age (he IS Master Hand!), the professor from Big Brain Academy, cooking Mama (already mentioned I'm sure), The fighter from Kung Fu, Or better yet, Captain N, the Game Master!

The Resident Evil 1 Jill Valentine, before she started doing fan service.
You've got all the Powers in place (B to use her Pistol, B ARROW for Rocket Launcher, etc.)
Plus, Resident Evil was a GameCube - and as such, Nintendo - exclusive until Resident Evil 4.

Bill Clinton and Al Gore from that one NBA game on Super Nintendo back in the mid-90's... That would be awesome!

That is wierd that you should say that... I recall watching a friend play Resident Evil on PlayStation (The original, before it was PS1) approximately 5 years before Gamecube was even invented...

Megaman.
Just a matter of making him differant from Samus, though I dont know what his special moves would be...

Tails.
Seeing as sonic is in, I'd opt for Tails (Eggman being the next choice, just so theres another baddy in smash bros) Plus I worked out a few possible specials.
Up+B = Fly - Tails would do a large jump, spinning his tails to recover, he would also hit characters above him a few times.
Down+B = Tails Twister - Tails would latch onto the ground and spin his tails, causing a small tornado, not too big, but just enough to pull in people immediately next to him, trapping them in the tonado before it shoots them up.
Final Smash = Tornado - Tails calls on his faithful plane which can be piloted over the stage, ramming other characters, pressed the A button will allow him to activate the boosters, for a charge attack in hopes of knocking an enemy off the stage.

Still a work in progress...

Pac-Man.

No, seriously, bear with me here. I have an awesome idea for his Final Smash; he swallows a power pellet and becomes huge and pixellated, ala his appearance in his original arcade game, and you can move him all around the screen in four directions (up, down, left, right) while leaving a yellow contrail and chasing opponents around, all of which have been colorized in blue by your eating of the pellet. Touching any of them causes them to disappear into a point value for a moment, after which they reappear and go flying off.

Well, I think it's neat.

Also, Little Mac and Lip (from Panel de Pon) and... actually, Nintendo really dropped the ball on several of their own characters to put in, not to mention Megaman, which I hear Capcom BLATANTLY OFFERED to them, but Nintendo didn't accept because they're run by spotted dicks.

Metal Gear Solid was remade for the Gamecube and released as Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.

Yes, but he would seriously lack any good b moves. I suggest an assist trophy. He runs along the stage, eating them up, and then Kirbycides.

I think they should of put in Majoras Mask Link, with his mask transformations and the likes. Instead we have some pile of green and yellow pixels that is an insult to Zelda games. The mask idea would of worked, just like the pokemon trainer did, Goron = Power, Deku = Recovery and Range, Zora = Speed

Cecil from FF4.
His Final Smash would be to turn into a Paladin.
And Terra from FF6, whose FS would be turning into Esper form and casting Ultima/Meteor, or just beating the crap out of opponents.

Samus rip-off? They were developed in the same year, so unless Capcom had insiders in Nintendo, I'm pretty sure they were developed independently of each other.

Less caps please.
Megaman would be okay if he used different weapons, rather than just his little arm mounted cannon. But it'd be about the same thing as having put Wolf in. Not enough difference to avoid being just another clone.

They need more villains in the game. Good ones at that. Why didn't King K. Rool get in? Why even add Diddy Kong if you were that desperate for a DK add-on? The biggest thing they need to do if (and you know they will), they make another SSB, is focus more on making the clones, less clonish. We have three Starfox characters and they all handle the same. They all have move sets that work best when tossing your opponent across the map, but Falco and Wolf are just to slow to use efectively as such. It's not new characters they need, it's more variation. And there's nothing wrong with ditching the third party characters, unless they add Sam, Max and Alice.

What about Smithy from Super Mario RPG as a villain?
Or Geno/Mallow for hero-side characters?
Maybe Culex as an assist trophy or a boss, would be sweet.

And I have to agree on adding Crono to a Smash Bros game, alongside Magus cause he was just badass.

Ganbare Goemon (Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, Goemon's Great Adventure) is my first choice. He could swap with Ebisimaru for his down B attack.

Travis Touchdown (No More Heroes), though new, absolutely needs to be in there, even if he would be cheap.

And Ameterasu (Okami). That would just be fucking sweet.

Toejam and Earl

I know they are not Nintendo, but imagine their final smash. They put together the space ship and take everyone off of the map.

Sagi, from Baten Kaitos Origins. Even though Kalas is much more badass, Sagi has the better moves and a tolerable voice. Sagi also gets four jumps because he has two real wings.

B: Red Padma, but only for one hit.

B-side: Ascension. Sagi would be able to move while doing this, like Meta Knight's B.

B-up: Cliffsunder, would basically be like a smaller version of Ike's Aether.

B-down: Equip a random Element Magnus to give Sagi's attacks some elemental punch.

Final Smash: The Godling's Rapture. End of story and life.
